This is in response to Mr [redacted]'s concern. I would like to point out that this system was not installed by our company, and is very unique in it's design. We pride ourselves on being able to diagnose and service many products in the industry. We service ten's of thousands of customers in the Fox...
Valley area. The system which is of question is not installed the way we feel it should have been initially. For a boiler as young as his it is apparent that the system is being worked harder than it should be and that is evident by the number of other contractors that have serviced the unit prior to us. It seemed Mr [redacted] had issues with other contractors as well. Our concern was to get Mr. [redacted] heat, but we also wanted to give him options as to what we felt would be in his best long term interest. It appears that his prior premature service calls are an indication of a system that is being heavily taxed. There are many added controls that are on this system that are not common practice. We asked Mr. [redacted] for a design layout of the system so we could better understand it. He did not have that information. We suggested other companies that may install systems similar to his in order to help facilitate the repair. We were very upfront and honest with Mr [redacted]. We don't think it is in the best interest of the customer or our company to put a band aid on the system. We are pleased that his system is operating now but as you can see in the past it is typically short lived. The mixer control unit is very unique to his Danfoss panel, but if you look at the scope of his other problems, boiler rumbling upon ignition, leaking fittings, rotting drain connections, etc this is the root of something bigger about to happen. It is too bad that Mr [redacted] felt it necessary to use this platform before discussing the depth of his issues with our company. We are a well respected company, and work very hard to service our customers needs. We will refund his money.
