Complaint: [redacted]determine if the couch has a smell. I have bought several pieces of furniture. I have never sat on a new cushion when I get up I am required to straighten out the cushion so it does not damaged. Once again I want my money back. I do not want A sectional couch that I can not seat on because of the smell/order.plus I have I am rejecting this response because: any one or every one that would like to make an appointment to come over and explain to me why this sectional couch has an order . I have gone into the christensen's Home Furnishings and  talked with a lady about the order. I was told the Ashley Furniture repair person would straighten out the cushion after sitting on the couch. I am not happy , obviously I am going to have to get more people involved.  Reporter, JBLM Representatives.Sincerely,

[redacted] and [redacted] purchased an Ashley brand sectional from our store in August of 2015. Shortly after we delivered the sectional the customer complained about an odor. As a courtesy to the customer we agreed to exchange the sectional for a new one.
  Approximately two months later...

the [redacted] complained about the seat cushions on the sectional. They did not mention anything about an odor. We asked them to email us pictures of the cushions which they did and we forwarded those pictures to the Ashley repair representative. He went to the customers house and inspected the sectional. He determined that there was nothing wrong with the seat cushions but, again as a courtesy to the customer, he filled the lumbar cushion with as much dacron as possible as the customer stated that he felt the lumbar cushion had flattened. No where in the email from Mr [redacted] did he mention an odor in the replacement sectional. He did however in his letter of complaint say that the Ashley repair representative could not determine any kind of smell coming from the sectional. There was no mention in the Ashley reps report of any complaint of an odor.
  We have sold this same sectional approximately seventy five times in the last eighteen months and have never had any other customer complaints of an order.
  We went out of our way to satisfy this customer. Even though no one from our company could detect and odor in the original sectional we went ahead and exchanged it for the [redacted]. Warranty issues are handled by Ashley, we took the appropriate steps to have the Ashley repair person address their complaint.
