I am rejecting this response because: As I stated, I understand that the vehicle was purchased as-isAs such, Christian Auto Sales has not, and will not, be hearing any complaint from me regarding a few other issues discovered after purchase. But does not cover misrepresentation: I was specifically told that the cause of the low oil pressure was low idle speed, and this claim was simply falseA "straight forward and honest" mechanic should not have told me that the issue was what he claimed it wasAs I said in my original complaint, if someone with little prior knowledge to engine operation, such as myself, can research the issue and find the cause, then a professional mechanic should have known itAnd indeed, as I have stated, my usual mechanic has agreed with my suspicion regarding the issueHe has seen low oil pressure issues such as mine numerous times, and when it's not the oil pressure sensor, it has always been the bearings. The business' response mentioned there was no engine noise associated with bad bearingsEngine noise does not always occur with bearing damageI kept the bearings after they were pulled, and they are indeed badly scratched and groovedI would be happy to drive to Christian Auto Sales and show them the damaged bearings if they do not believe that they were damaged. The Revdex.com listing of Christian Auto Sales states, very clearly, that Christian Auto Sales is NOT Revdex.com accreditedYet Christian Auto Sales is displaying and advertising "Revdex.com Accredited Business" on their website, and mentioning accreditation when speaking to their salesmanThis fact adds to my claim of dishonesty. The original quoted repair of $was to replace just the bearingsThis estimate was given before damage to the crankshaft was knownThis crankshaft damage could not have been known before pulling the bearingsWhen I first contacted Christian Auto after the cause of the low oil pressure was known, I had mentioned that with bearing damage there is always risk of further damage to the engine, and this turned out to be the case

First I need to clear up Mr [redacted] error in calling the mechanic the, "dealers mechanic" The mechanic shop we use is Fast Repair Fast Repair is located in the same building as is Christian Auto Sales but is a separate business not owned by Christian Auto Sales We use Fast Repair because they have always been straight forward and honest Mr [redacted] mechanic gave him an estimate of $to repair the Ford Taurus Mr [redacted] purchased Mr [redacted] purchased the vehicle with no warrantee Mr [redacted] could have brought the vehicle to any mechanic to have it checked out prior to purchase I did not know of any major engine problem before the vehicle was sold, there wasn't any engine noise that would be associated with bad bearings Mr [redacted] was offered, and accepted, a one time payment of $ Mr [redacted] suggests that Christian Auto Sales was difficult to contact Christian Auto Sales receives a large amount of phone calls Mr [redacted] should have left a message We attempt to answer or return all calls
