I went to the shop and paid to have the engine in my car rebuilt The shop instead of rebuilding the motor gave me a used motor I took my [redacted] 300ZX to the shop intending to get my motor rebuilt on July 3, I was told that the repairs would take approximately weeks When the shop notified me to come pick up the car up on November 27, a full months after the car was promised due to the way the car was running and earlier suspicions I came to believe that the motor was not a rebuilt motor Immediately after leaving the shop I took the car to a couple auto dealers and an independent company seeking to get verification of my suspicions That I preferred the estimate from a dealer I elected to put the car in the body shop while I decided who was going to go into the motor to verify if indeed I had received what I paid for After more than months the shop notified me that they were done with the body work On February 24, I moved the car to another repair shop
