We talked with Mr [redacted] He felt that we had overcharged him by requiring DiagnosisWe refunded him for one of the chargesHe accepted the offer and to our knowledge we have resolved the issue.Let me know if you need additional information

Mr*** initially brought his car in because it was leaking coolantWe performed a diagnosis (Coolant Pressure Test) and determined that he had a leaky Heater Core and that it needed replacingWe gave him an estimate for the repair and he decided that he did not want to have the work doneHe
came in a few days later and decided that he wanted us to fix the heater coreWe replaced it, flushed out the old coolant and added new coolantWE tested the car for several hours before releasing it to Mr***There were not any leaks when he picked up the carHe brought the car back later and said that we did not fix his problemInitially we could not find anything wrong but when we did another diagnosis we discovered that he needed a thermostatWe replaced it for him at no chargeThe thermostat housing was not leaking when he picked it up and the work that we had done on his car was working fine and nothing was leaking when he picked up the carWhen he left our shop he did not have a leak in the thermostat housingIt apparently developed a crack in it which was not the case when he left our shopHe did not bring his car back for us to fix the thermostat housing. He said that we put the wrong radiator cap on his carWe did not put a radiator cap on his carAbout his car shakingHis car has over 200,miles on itThe shaking was caused by bad strutsThe additional estimate was to fix the shaking which had nothing to do with the problem that we solvedReplacing a heater core and thermostat does not solve all the problems that a car with his mileage has. What we did fixed his initial problemWe did flush his cooling system and replaced it with manufactured recommended coolant not just waterThis coolant did not cause his problems. We talked with Mr*** and once again explained what we had doneWe did not know about the thermostat housing and would have replaced it if we had known about itHe wants his money backWe stand behind what we have done and take exception to the accusation that we did not flush his system and replace it with recommended coolantWe also did not replace a radiator cap as he accused us of.I totally defend our work and our reputation in this matter *** ** ***

We initially replaced her power steering pump with an after market partAfter of the pumps failed we replaced it with a Pump that we purchased from ToyotaShe went to another repair shop several months later and they noticed that it was leakingShe sent us a certified letter informing us of the
problem and she requested her money back for the cost of putting on the pumpSince the pump was still under Toyota's warranty My service manager contacted management at Vandergriff Toyota in Arlington and they agreed to look at the pump and replace it for her if neededThey gave me the telephone number and name of their service writer for her to contact to fix her carSince she has not been returning our calls I sent her a certified letter letting her know whom to contact at Vandergriff Toyota and that if the pump was the problem they would fix it for her at no cost to herFor whatever reason the service writer told her that there was nothing she could do for herAfter erroneously turned down by this service writer she did not call us but contacted you and filed a complaint. My service manager contacted management at Vandergriff Toyota and they apologized for the service writer turning her down for warranty service and refunded to me the cost of the PS pumpI have sent her a check which covers the full amount that she paid us for the part, labor, sales tax and shop suppliesSince she is not accepting our calls I have sent her a letter with the checkI also apologized to her for the inconvenience she experiencedI know that she was not pleased with our performance but when I receive d her letter I tried several times to let her know verbally what we were planning on doing to solve her problemWe were doing everything that we could do to solve her problemIf she had called us from the dealership or informed us of what they told her we could of had her problem solvedMy suggestion to her or anyone else is if you have a problem and the company is trying to solve your problem do not stop talking to them

We talked with Mr. [redacted]. He felt that we had overcharged him by requiring 2 Diagnosis. We refunded him for one of the charges. He accepted the offer and to our knowledge we have resolved the issue.Let me know if you need additional information.

we are still disputing

Talked with [redacted] father [redacted]. We talked about the charge of $108.59 she paid for us to diagnosis her problem. After talking with her father I have agreed to refund the full amount of the charge or $108.59 per her request. I have mailed her a check today to the address on the complaint.This...

should solve her complaint.

I have stated what we have done for the customer concerning his complaint. We fixed his original problem of the leaky Heater Core and replaced his thermostat at no charge. We flushed his cooling system and replaced the coolant with coolant not water as he claims. The work that we performed on his car did not cause any additional damage. We have performed the work that he approved and performed it successfully. We do not intend to do anything else.

WE ARE STILL DISPUTING

We stand by our original response and do not intend to change it
