wipersOur vendors provide us with free oil, filters, and wiper bladesOne of the restaurants provides breakfast and lunch for the people and their families coming in for the free oil changeLocal churches and relief organizations make the appointments for those in needThis year we provided free oil changes and wiper blades for peopleWe do not check out cars at that time for oil leaks etcWe do however try to detect any thing that would be a safety issue on their carOil leaks are not considered to be a safety issueMs*** was a recipient of a free oil changeAs mentioned above The intent of this free oil change is to change their oil, offer them free food and drinks not check out their car and give them an estimate on repairing any thing that needs fixingShe did not ask us to check out her car and we feel that that would be offensive to most people coming in since the churches and other organizations setting the appointment determine that they were worthy of a free oil change and could not afford to pay for it themselves. My technicians are ASE certified professionals but sometimes they do make mistakes. However, since she brought her car back to us and we checked her oil level I trust my technicians would have drained any excess oil from her engine if it was in danger of harming the engine
