Well its' been a long journey with CC, and after (four) 4 months and 10 days, they finally completed the repairs on my home after the May 29th 2019 hail storm that hit Hollister, MO. Have to be upfront and say the first representative from CC didn't quite meet our expectations and to some degree we were very unhappy. When they came to the door and said they would work to repair my roof on the house and secondary garage to include siding and other items, they would take what the insurance would pay. I said OK, but I wanted to upgrade a few places on my home to make it better. I wanted all the siding replaced on my home, not just the west side and I wanted a basic/simple roof built over my patio. I specifically stated to the representative that we will draw a line. Top half is what the insurance is going to pay you for the work to be done and the bottom half is what I want you to tell my how much it's going to cost to upgrade to a better siding with insulation and what the roof is going to cost me. Well on the 7th of August my wife and I went away for a few days and I was informed by my neighbor that the siding folks were at our house. I contacted the rep from CC and asked why I wasn't informed of when these guys were coming and what the additional cost to me will be for the up-grade. His response and I quote (I was under the impression you wanted both things done no matter the cost). Well it did matter and although I agreed to pay for the up-grade in siding, I decided to not go with CC to do the roof over my patio. Bottom-line, a new representative from CC came out and basically re-leveled the paying field. When he said something was going to happen within a few days, he was right it happened. To bring my comments to a close, here are a few words of advice. Always get bids on work you need done, pay only the amount of money you need to get the work started (this keeps you in the driver seat) and stay local. Oh one last thing I don't believe I'll do business with this company again and I'm still waiting for my warranties for the roofs and siding.
