The customer did have some limbs that were broken on his tree as a result of our workThe tree was not destroyedHowever, we would be glad to send him a check for his requested amount of $for the tree The price on the contract for the roof was not based on material brought to the jobsite It is a contract price If it had taken more material then the customer would not have been charged extra We always send more material to our jobsites so that if there is a problem the installers don't have to leave and come back to the warehouse There was never any agreement with the customer to leave or reimburse him for material The customer did ask about the cost of shingles because he stated that he might be interested in building a shed at a later time and would like to know what it would cost to buy the shingles if he did If I can be of any further assistance on this matter please feel free to contact me

The customer did have some limbs that were broken on his tree as a result of our work. The tree was not destroyed. However, we would be glad to send him a check for his requested amount of $250.00 for the tree.  The price on the contract for the roof  was not based on material brought...

to the jobsite.  It is a contract price.  If it had taken more material then the customer would not have been charged extra.  We always send more material to our jobsites  so that if there is a problem the installers don't have to leave and come back to the warehouse.  There was never any agreement with the customer to leave or reimburse him for material.  The customer did ask about the cost of shingles because he stated that he might be interested in building a shed at a later time and would like to know what it would cost to buy the shingles if he did.  If I can be of any further assistance on this matter please feel free to contact me.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Regards,
[redacted]  SHOULD I EXPECT A CHECK FOR THE 250 THEN?

We received a call from [redacted] on December 6, 2015 stating that he was dissatisfied with the way his roof looked that we had installed on December 4, 2015.  He was very irate with our sales representative and used very strong profanity.  Our sales rep asked [redacted] to clam...

down and stop using such strong profanity at him and he would try to help him.  Our sales rep informed [redacted] that we stand behind our products and workmanship and that he did not need to be irate.  [redacted] said he was concerned that the shingles were not laying down and that they looked like "[redacted] *"  Our sales rep told him we would come out and take a look at his concern.  What we found upon inspection was that the weather had been cold during the last few days and that the shingles would lay down once it warmed up.  Our sales rep went back out on December 7, 2015 and met with [redacted].  They both got on the roof together to look at the current condition of the roof.  Upon their inspection together they both agreed that the south facing roof area had already laid down as we mentioned it would with warmer temperatures and that the north facing roof would do the same with some additional time.  He told our sales rep that he would call our office on December 9, 2015 and pay for the roof with his credit card.  He did not call or make any payments for the roof.  He instead filed this complaint with you.  We still have not been paid for this roof by the customer which keeps the warranty from being put in place.  We have assured [redacted] that the roof will be warrantied once it is paid in full.As too the complaint about his neighbors yard.  On December 4, 2015 when we were installing [redacted]'s roof it was windy that day and some wrappers did blow over into the neighbors yard.  However, those wrappers were properly picked up by our crew and disposed of with the other roofing debris.  We did not have any issues or complaints from the neighbor, just [redacted].I think as you will see from this information and from [redacted]'s complaint that we have done what is right.  It appears to us that [redacted] is just looking for a reason not to pay.  Once [redacted] pays for the roof it will be under full warranty for the duration of his contract.  The contract states that a warranty will not be in effect until the balance due is paid in full.Thank you for your assistance in closing this matter.Sincerely[redacted]
