Our mechanic was out on the 10th of March 2014. The outdoor heat pump was frozen indicating that there was a problem. The reasons for an iced up heat pump are a defrost board or bad sensors or low on...

Freon. We checked the defrost mode and everything was working corrrectly as it is stated on the invoice. We then checked the Freon levels and the Pressures were low for that system ( see attached heat chart).
According to the heat chart the system was low on Freon. We received permission to perform a leak check on the system. We found the bottom right corner of the evaporator coil leaking. We use a digital leak detector for leak checks. We gave the customer options to replace the evaporator coil or go with a new higher efficient system. He decided not to go with any of the options. He did agree to put Freon inthe system.
He states that on January 5th 2015 the system froze again stating that there is a problem with the system again. (Low on Freon again beacuse it is still leaking??!!) The second opinion company states that there was no problem. Why did it freeze up again?
Our customer also signed the invoice stating that everything we did was to his satisfactory.
Christian Heating and AIr Conditioning would be happy to go back to the customers house with a leak detector and show him were it is leaking.

Case #[redacted] - We spoke with [redacted] on 10-13-16 about the issue he was having and he discussed the reason for charging him for his repairs. He then was fine and came to an agreement for a discount on a extended 5year labor warranty for any future services. This matter is resolved.

concern,Please be advised that I have  resolved my Revdex.com complaint with chriistian brothers favorably.  Thank you for your assistance. [redacted]

Mr. B[redacted],
We apologize for your concerns regarding your experience on July 1st with our company. We have spoken to our team and technicians about the situation discussed to ensure that all procedures and protocol were properly followed. We understand that there was some communication and...

recommendations from a friend of yours as well as our technicians. We at Christian HVAC can only perform the requests that were authorized from the homeowner and we are not responsible for other HVAC companies work. Furthermore, our staff always allows the customer to make the decision of what work is done and in this case we recommended checking for a leak before adding Freon. The decision made to just add Freon was a risk and a decision that was made against our recommendation. We understand the frustration with an additional service call fee and the fees associated with servicing your unit which is why we inform our customers ahead of time before coming out and servicing a unit. Lastly, we have made several attempts to resolve this situation via phone and have not been able to get through. We would appreciate you calling our General Manager, Dave P[redacted], back directly at ###-###-#### to answer any further questions or concerns.
Attached is the service invoice that Mr. B[redacted] signed. We will refund the customer back for his maintenance plan he purchased of $238 minus the repair savings of $65.50, totaling a refund of $172.50. No other amount will be refunded.
Thank you,
Dave
