Christian Heating and Air Conditioning Mechanical Services Reviews (%countItem)

Company replaced under warranty an incorrectly sized valve called TXV. in our downstairs HVAC unit in Oct/2018. Valve in which was provided by the manufacturer incorrectly. Part was under warranty. As result the compressor broke and had to be replaced. I had to contract with another company to replace the correct TXV part as well as the broken compressor. Resulting at a bill of extra $*** to fix both issues and almost one week without AC during an extremely hot week. I have a newborn and I need to keep the house cool as it is a preventative measure to avoid SIDS

Our
equipment at *** was started and put into commission on March 8, 2017
and No Problems were found then. Our
Warranty, for any equipment we install, is 1-year Parts and Labor, this means
anything that happens in the first year we repair at No Charge to the
Homeowner. After the first year, the
Manufacturer’s Warranty is the only thing in effect, meaning the manufacture
gives us the part and the homeowner has to pay the Labor to install it. This is typical of Most HVAC Companies. There was a new TXV installed on October 1,
2018 due to a No Cooling call that came to dispatch in our office. We gave *** the Model and Serial numbers
off the unit and they, ***, gave us a New TXV to install. It was installed, subcooling was checked and
the system was put back into commission.
This was done in October, anyone in this industry will tell you Spring
and Fall are the worst time of the year to check the charge. The technician that performed the part
replacement is a 17-year Senior Technician and I will put his skills against
anyone in the residential field. With
this being said, him or no one could tell we were given the wrong part from
***. They look the same on the
outside, it’s the inside that’s different.
When the matter was brought to our attention, we pulled our file on the
job and called *** and they checked their records on the equipment and said
that they had given us the wrong part. I
told them what had happened to the compressor due to the wrong TXV and they
seemed sympathetic and started a Case number on it. I called them about every other day and
either got No Response or No Call Back, just sent to talk to different
people. So, I finally called Technical
Support and talked to them and they said to give the customer the complaint
number and she could put in a complaint, so we did. After several conversations with Technical
Support, they gave me a Case number also.
They told me it was not a Technical Support issue, that it was a mistake
made by an employee and they would be reprimanded. They also said that the *** Branch we
deal with is privately owned and we needed to take it up with them, so I
did. I went back to *** MidAtlantic
and started the process again with another person. Once again, they said they made a mistake and
were sympathetic, but the same thing happens.
I call and leave voicemails, and no one calls back, emails are not
responded to, ect. I was a ***
Dealer for years and stopped dealing with them for this very reason. I have told the homeowner my hands are tied,
and I cannot do anything until I get a resolution from ***. I told them they, ***, made a mistake and
they, ***, needs to help the homeowner.
We will email you all the information we have on this matter, with the
phone number we have on file with Contact numbers. I have no problem with you posting this as
you can see, we have tried to get this resolved. Please feel free to contact me at
Sincerely,Michael

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
C*** Hvac has not proposed a solution, on the contrary, it has informed me it will no longer pursue a resolution even though on the letter to Revdex.com, this is not what was informed. Also, it shows a threatening tone for having seek Revdex.com's aid in reaching for a resolution.I am still short $*** in which I had to pay to fix someone's mistakes.

Regards

Good job and fast and good service
