Christian-Lorraine Oriental Rug

Christian-Lorraine ruined our rug. Brought the rug to them. Staff identified dog urine stain at one end of the oriental rug. Recommended a heavy flush of water to eliminate the urine. Great! Picked the rug up after cleaning and unrolled it in the dining room. Color had bled and covered 40% of the carpet. Called [redacted] and was told I signed a waiver. They aren't responsible for the rug. No attempt was made to inform me that the color would bleed and ruin the carpet when I was standing in front of them with our oriental rug unrolled on their floor on Franklin St. The cleaning service was selected by the staff for my carpet. If I was told by the staff that this color bleed would happen if the rug was cleaned by them I believe I would have found another option. I received no such information. I have since read a great deal on how oriental rugs are cleaned when there is a pet stain. [redacted] is oblivious to these techniques. If the staff had read any of the oriental rug cleaning sites they would understand their process for handling urine stains is irresponsible. [redacted] might be great cleaning oriental rugs. They have no idea how to clean a rug with urine stains without ruining the rug.
