Christie's Hallmark

Review: Christie's Hallmark sent me a Happy Birthday postcard and invited me to come in and get my FREE gift, a FREE Cross-Body Bag. The postcard also said I would get 20% off my purchase. I went to the store and two clerks and one management person stated I could not get my FREE gift unless I made a purchase. I really have a problem with this. They state on the front and on the back of the card that it is a FREE gift and they put the word free in all capital letters on both sides of the card. Requiring any kind of purchase is not a free gift. I contacted Hallmark.com, but they said they could not help me; this was something I had to handle locally. I thought you might want to know what kind of false advertising they are doing and maybe you could explain to them that this is against the law.
