I, [redacted] , was hired by [redacted] to clean a property located at [redacted] in [redacted] ***, ***The property is a four bedroom, two bath square foot homeI was hired to do an inspection or make ready cleaning; preparing the property for saleI bid the job at $with the understanding that I would not have to do much to the floors because [redacted] had a tile contractor working on the floors [redacted] had the expectation that her tile contractor would be putting a finish on the floorsAfter two days of cleaning [redacted] was to meet me Saturday November 12th at 2pm to pay me for my work and to do a walk through with me and she did not arriveNor did she respond to my text or phone call until the following dayDuring this time of no communication I left her a voicemail indicating that I would be asking for an additional $for the floors; her floor contractor left construction dust everywhereShe was made aware that there were a few unfinished items when she returned my callWe never had a chance to agree to the additional $I was asking for the floorsShe informed me by text that she was not pleased about the property being unlocked and that she was not going to pay meShe indicated she had hired another cleaning company to finish what I had startedI then told her I would be filing for theft of services through the police department and would be filing for a lean on the propertyI then gave her the opportunity to show me the items she was not pleased with and I would clean themShe pointed out the three items I left undone the hood range above the stove, one ceiling fan, and stickers on the stainless steel fridgeI asked to be paid for my services $and I returned in the morning to clean the items she pointed out to meWhich, by the way, the property inspection passed except for a light fixture and a windowI have been paid for the original work discussed and would no longer like to have any dealings with this clientThank You, [redacted]
