Review: A $500 dress was purchased and was tailored by the stores tailor. When we received the dress after the alterations were done, the tailor over cut the dress and it was now short. After rasing my serious concern with the store manager Tina, she refused to issue a refund and would not forward anything to the owner. She explained that the store has a no refund or exchange policy. I advised her that under these circumstances that policy should not be in effect since the dress was damaged by a store employee. After returning to the store a second day and having my sister put on the dress and have the tailor look at the damage. She even admitted to over cutting the dress and there is no way of restoring it. After speaking with Tina again, she still refused to issue a refund. After arguing for 30 minutes the best she could do is exchange the dress for a different one. I was still not happy with this as the dress she was giving me was 2 sizes bigger. Tina would still not issue a refund and I was left with no choice but to take the dress that was 2 sizes bigger since the dress is need for a event less than 2 weeks away. Now we have to spend an additional $250 to have the dress sized down and cut to the correct length.Desired Settlement: Since I couldn't get a full refund, I would like to have the store pay the tailoring fees spent for the job that should of been done correctly the first time by their employee.
