Christmas Decor Reviews (%countItem)
Bama Exterminating operating as Christmas Decor installed lights on my house. In doing so, they damaged the ridge vent allowing rain through the roof.
In fall 2016, I contacted Bama Exterminating (operating at Christmas Decor) for lights on my house. At that time, I had to sign a three-year contract (2016, 2017, and 2018) with them. The contract was satisfied in 2018. In September 2019, they contacted me (by mail) to make appointment for light installation and to make payment arrangements. I was not going to be able to afford lights then so I disregarded the letter. Christmas lights were installed on my roof in November 2019. I did not request them nor did I pay any money for them. I contacted Bama Exterminating about this requesting they be removed but they never were (as of this date, 02/11/2020, the lights are still on my house). During the installation, the ridge vent was destroyed and other areas of my roof were damaged from installation. Additionally, I now have ceiling damage in my living. I have contacted Adam Owens multiple times (as has the roofer who supplied supporting pictures of the damage and a quote for repair). After three weeks, I have heard nothing from Adam regarding the repairs to my roof and interior repairs.
I am requesting Bama Exterminating pay the quote from the roofer for repairs to my ceiling and interior damage (and additional hidden expenses when the roofer starts repair/replacement work) as a result of improper installation of lights that were not supposed to be placed on my house.
