I am rejecting this response because: I did NOT steal the purseIf I wanted to steal the purse I would of stolen the earrings and I would not of pulled the wallet out and OFFER to pay for it, and I certainly would NOT of gone back to the store! I'm done with this store and the rude staffI was NOT verbally aggressive with anyoneI did not raise my voice, curse, or yell at anyone
I am the clerk that helped this customer She first put a pair of Brighton earrings on the counter I rang them up, she gave me $cash, and I gave her $back She then placed a Baggallini wallet on the counter and I apologized to her for not seeing it I rang it up
and asked for $ She took out a $bill and asked me if I had change for that large a bill I said of coarse, and I gave her $back to her in change I noticed that she had a matching Baggallini purse on her shoulder when she left but assumed it was hers I found out later when she tried to return the purse that it was not hers It was ours and she walked out with it She never placed the purse on the counter for me to scan, it was on her shoulder When she tried to return it we asked for a receipt and she was not able to give one (because she stole it) She became furious and was verbally abusive to my manager, who did not allow her to take the purse out of the store As far as her claiming she is missing money, our registers were not off that day There is no way we could have short-changed her I specifically remember counting the money back to her Christmas Point prides ourselves in our friendliness and customer service This woman obviously lost her cash elsewhere and wants to blame us Thank you.
