I have an email chain(16 responses) starting in Nov. 2019 detailing my attempts to get a refund after returning sunglasses that did not fit and cost $149. Additionally, I received a bill from *** indicating I owed $30.23 for the delivery of the glasses from China (?) This company is a Danish eyewear company with offices in NYC. I received an email early on from the company telling me to contact (Alexander) and he would facilitate my refund for the *** charges and the return of the glasses.
Months later and many requests have gone unheeded and I'm still getting bills from *** I have copies of all emails as well as my Return Receipt, documentation of emails recognizing my return and promises of reimbursement. None of these things have happened.
This appears to be a reputable company looking at their website, which guarantees free return/refunds and 24 hour customer service. Nothing could be further from the truth. No one has EVER answered the phone number given, only email responses.

The customer reached out to us this Saturday and we have just gotten back to me asking for his PayPal information so we could refund him ASAP. Thus, please note that he only paid paid $119.20 for the sunglasses and not $149.00 as informed in the request. Furthermore it is stated on the website "Orders outside the European Union are subject to local import duties and taxes which are payable by the customer upon receipt, and may be affected by Customs and Excise delays. These charges and delays are at the customer’s own expense." so in regards to the $30.23 it is ONLY because we are operating in good faith that we are taking on this charge.We hope to hear back from the customer today so we can put this to bed.Let us know if you have any questions.
