I, came into our shop late towards the end of [redacted]'s service her at Chrome.   I was the one that rang her up at our register and gave her a discount on the product she was purchasing.  At that point she was thrilled with her service.  She made an appointment with...

Tayler (her stylist) for the following Tuesday to get a gloss applied.  She left happy. A few days later I was asked to call her to discuss her service, as I am the owner and color specialist at Chrome Salon.  I contacted [redacted].  She was requesting that I fix her color and that I pay for a recut at another salon of $65.00.  I explained to her that it was our policy to fix the problem and not just refund without cause.  She was persistent that she did not want Becky our cutting specialist to fix the cut, but she would let me fix the color.  I then agreed that I would refund her $32.00 (the price of the complmary bottle of [redacted] conditioner valued at $20.00.  She agreed and was scheduled to come too the shop @ 4:00 that night.
She then called back an hour later and thanked me, but decided not to go through with our plan.  I assured her that should she change her mind my offer was still on the table.  She thanked me again.  I told her that I want all customers to leave Happy and I did not want this to end negatively.  She assured me that it was fine and she would not talk negatively about the shop.
I asked her if I have resolved everything for her today?  She replied yes you did John, you were awesome.  I just would like to go back to my original salon.  At that point I said If you change your mind my offer stands.  She thanked me. We hung up.
My offer still stands of $32.00 refund.  Free $20.00 conditioner, and recolor.
Thank you,
John C.

I am rejecting this response because:
this is ridiculous. the bottom line here is due to the choice of my coming there and your stylist leaving a lightening product on so long that I now have 50% less of my hair length due to damage is cause enough for a refund. it will take me years to grow it back. over 2, to be exact. that's how much damage is done. that's all I care about.

this has been dragging
out over whether I've gone to other salons? my statement of your not telling the truth was two-fold. 1:  I never said I was okay with damaging my hair nor was that explained as a side effect from the lifting or "little color correction" as it was explained to me. and 2: I never have used boxed hair color- I'm not really sure where that came from either.
bottom line is my hair is damaged- the most damage ever to my hair. this has been traumatizing, whether you want to admit that or not. it will take years to grow out. and my color isn't right due to the amount of lightener left on for so long, the color she applied did not take. but until my hair has some time to heal, it's been recommended I do not apply more color for fear of further damage.
that's all. this doesn't need to be a knock-down, drag out, on-going process. I just am asking for the company to honor my refund  request. I am sorry that I couldn't afford another 300 to do extensions, which didn't sound like a bad idea at the time, but once I did my research and found the cost, I realized I cannot afford it.
I do not believe my request is unreasonable.  the photo attached is my volume
before and after the process. I'm just asking that you have some
compassion- I'm not trying to do
anything to your business, I'm just asking you to honor my refund. that's all.
