Customer lied directly to me on a number of points and the same on her complaint.She stated that she would be able to return costume ALL of our employees are very familiar with our return policy It's posted in large print next to each register It's also printed on every receipt
In addition, we have our employees ask customers to try on costumes to make sure they are happy with their purchase as there are no returns on costumes.I asked times who the employee was, but she couldn't identify the employee that supposedly told her this...yet the employee that sold her the item was standing right next to me.This customer said I was rude, unprofessional and laughed at her Totally untrue I have recorded the whole conversation on our security system which I have archived The whole time I smiled and apologized over and over that she didn't understand our return policy.Our policy is in line with most all costume stores and we do everything possible to make sure people are happy when they leave The policy is in place for reasons, first for safety & hygiene reasons and secondly, to keep some customers from abusing the system by wearing the costume for a party and then returning it after the holiday.When the customer started dropping "f-bombs" I went out to the parking lot to get a picture of her plates and car in case any of this turns into a legal matter The more documentation, the better.Nobody called her a liar at anytime

Regardless of what this staff member says is company policy, I was told I could return this product by the sale clerk that I was only able to identify by the huge tatoo she had on her upper right thigh. On the day I made my purchase, the employees were dressed in full costume, make-up and wigs which would make it impossible to identify anyone without having this identifying tatoo which the owner admitted this employee had.  It is unfortunate that this clerk lied to me and I believed this store would stand behind the word of their employees. Despite what the clerk said, she did tell me what I stated she did about the return of this, sweatshirt, unopened, unworn and with receipt.  If there is a tape then there also be a a recording of this employee telling me I could return the product. I highly doubt this is the case.  Also, my reaction was not as the owner suggested. He was absolutely rude and unprofessional and I have read many complaints about this company since I began reading reviews of this company.   Regards,
