thorough inspection.  The previous owners did have the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) replaced at Chrysler Winona under warranty at 31,764 miles on November 5 2014.   At that point there was no reason to believe this was going to be an ongoing issue as parts can fail.  The service records were readily available but were never asked for by the consumer upon purchase.  Never during the sales process was anything hidden or kept from the consumer.  We pride ourselves on being honest and straight forward with all of our customers.  After the sale of the vehicle at 45,242 miles and on October 21 2015 a problem with the PCM was reported and taken care of under warranty by Bloomington CDJR.  Chrysler Winona was not aware of this repair at the time.  Service records indicate that a problem with the PCM was corrected under warranty again at 48,577 miles on January 16, 2016 at Bloomington CDJR.  We did receive an email from the consumer that was promptly responded to by the sales consultant asking if there was anything we could do to help.  No response to that email was ever received.   On April 29, 2016 the consumer contacted us again having the same issue with the vehicle.  The sales consultant spoke with the consumer on the phone and explained to them that this is a warranty issue and gave the consumer a phone number to contact Chrysler Corp.  No correspondence followed that conversation.  The vehicle is still under the manufacturer’s powertrain warranty and has never been back to Chrysler Winona for repair since purchase."
