Chuck Hughes Inner Circle Reviews (%countItem)

I did sign up. They didn't run my credit card until the seven days cancel expired. I did request cancellation within the next seven days they refused
My mom doubled her money in the six months before Corona Virus. I signed up as we first heard about Corona Virus.
Chuck Hughes service casually mentions "get out of a trade with a small 20% loss". This service we subscribed to should have recognized how drastically the market changed.

As novice traders we didn't exit until down 60-70%.

The high pressure sales people are "Sub contractors". I signed up and gave my credit card number. No charge was made until after seven days. Within the next seven days I had a conversation with the number 2 in the organization and he agreed to put my account "on hold". Two weeks later I definitely wanted a refund, was told how unethical I am by the subcontractor. After that I filed with my credit card company. I lost because the request wasn't within the original seven days.

Here's a thought. Cancellations might (always will) be much higher once "consideration" (money) has been paid. And since Consideration (money) is ESSENTIAL for an agreement to be enforceable was this really a Contract.

Shouldn't the seven days right to cancel START after the money changes hands.

I'm appealing the decision by the credit card company and I'm no lawyer but I think that holding off the credit card charge until the cancellation expires constitutes fraud.

Desired Outcome

A change of policy in holding the credit card charges. Partial refunds for partial cancellation of the two year term. Stronger "get out of this trade" advice to us novice traders.

-Our policy is not to hold CC information for 7 days until the refund policy expires. We were unaware of this situation with the sales company that made the sale and notified the company in writing to cease this practice and to issue refunds if a member requests a refund within three business days of purchase. We are terminating our relationship with this company in two months and they will no longer be selling our services.
-A full refund was issued.
-We will make every effort possible to notify members by email or text with specific instructions to exit trades.

The company honored my desire to cancel and refunded my money.

On June 24, 2019 I received a sales call from *** who introduced an opportunity to make a lot of money in options trading based on recommendations by a trader (Chuck Hughes) whose winning record is about 95%.I indicated I will be interested if I win, they win, if I lose, they lose or at least, I don't pay.*** did not accept and continued his aggressive sales pitch and the exorbitant price. I requested the conversation to be recorded but *** refused. That seemed very odd to me, taking a very high but not recording the call'A guarantee of refunding the money was mentioned if, within a year, the published recommendations lost money. This sounded to me like a money back guarantee. Finally, I agreed to enter 'the inner circle? for $*** per two years. Again, I requested a recording of the conversation and was refused. That night, I could not sleep, got sick and decided to cancel the subscription. I called back the next day to try and get out of the 'circle'. After several calls I was referred to ***. All my efforts to unsubscribe and get a refund were rejected.I tried one recommendation and lost money on it. Now, I got really stressed.I issued a dispute with AMEX ? it was rejected several times.Per AMEX advice I called back to try get a refund and was referred to *** ('***') who also refused to hear my reasoning that the service is not for me (I am unemployed and on Social Security), it is too stressful for me, etc.***, who initially refused refund as "the contract cannot be broken" offered a resolution by switching my service to "***" - an offer that DOES involve breaking the original contract.I refused as it did not address the issue.Following this saga, I got more stressed and depressed and my health started deteriorating noticeably - On October 3 I was hospitalized following a neurological episode. The web Inner Circle web site DOES indicate that the service is not for everyone, but the company DOES NOT follow this concept in practice.Product_Or_Service: Chuck Hughes Inner Circle subscription
