I called them and spoke with a woman and told her I was looking for side window for a 2013 ford e250 service. She checked her inventory and told me they had a 1999 ford e250 window and that she was sure even though it was the correct window I needed that there was no way it be the same size as the one on my 2013 van. I asked if I came in just for the heck of it could we just see it might fit because I have drove these vans for 15 years as a service technician and although I have know factually knowledge or have ever messured on it anything like that I was so sure that was something that actually changes periodically or would very so much that it absolutely wouldn't work and she said no they would get it from inventory and she again assured me immediately the window they had off 1999 ford e250 absolutely wouldn't work and since her response was immediate I knew either she definetly was correct because she delt with this exact situation first hand and remembered it or just didn't care or feel like putting forth any effort in asking someone else or looking into it for me so she just said it wouldn't fit because that litterally was all their was time for of what could have been the reason for her answer during a less than 2 minute phone call on 2/12/15 around 2:45pm. Well after transferring as much expensive stock items (apx $7,000 on my particular van) and expensive tools from my service van and loading into out spare family vehicle which is a town and country that you have to actually remove the back to rows of seats to make room in it and patching the broken window the best I could with sheet metal while calling around still trying to locate another window to replace the broken one which I did at genes in traverse city but it was snowing so hard there was no way I could have made it there in an hour and the had 3 and none were pulled and they don't let customers in their yard after 5pm which would've meant I had 39 minutes to get to ** from [redacted] impossible) I also must state that before removing the town and country seats and transferring expensive stock and tools I did all my calling around until I found the replacement window. The. I tried calling around looking for anyone I could think of whom may have had extra room inside a garage or pole barn with an 8' door my van would've fit in. No luck. So I called work explained the situation of the window accidentally breaking by a mistake I had made and that I located and purchased another window in ** and secured as much from my/their service van as I could and that I wouldn't be able to have any service calls scheduled for me and that I would have it replaced tomorrow. It took apx 6 hours transferring items off and back on my service van and I had to the rest of Thursday and Friday off work which cost my family a day and half wages and when I got to [redacted] he showed me the van on his computer and clearly looked 10+ years old so I asked if he was certain that the window was the one I needed and started to think I just took a day off and drove all this way only to find out [redacted] made a mistake. He turned the monitor towards me and after a couple minutes he had found the webpage he was looking for they use to cross reference things AND there is was right in front of my very own eyes in black and white ALL FORD E250 REAR AND SIDE WINDOWS FROM 1994 TO 2014 IN THE SAME SIZE AND INTERCHANGEABLE, so thanks BRYANS AUTO PARTS FOR SUCH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NOT CARING WHATSOEVER ABOUT SOMEONE TRYING TO BE YOUR CUSTOMER THAT I WAS SO UNIMPORTANT TO YOU WHICH MOST LIKELY IS HOW YOU FEEL GUYS FEEL ABOUT ANY AND ALL OF YOUR CUSTOMERS THAT TAKING A COUPLE MINUTES OF YOUR TIME TO SIMIPLY SEE IF THE WINDOW YOU HAD PULLED AND IN STOCK JUST MIGHT HAVE FIT MY NEWER VAN WAS OBVIOUSLY ASKING WAY TO MUCH FROM THIS BUSINESS. I would like to thank [redacted] auto parts for treating me like they wanted my business and with respect. I do wish I wouldn't have had to take so much time off work and out of my life swapping things around and driving inaccurate in forther to traverse city in a horrible blizzard with almost zero visibility when if Byrans would have simply looked it up they would have saved me hours of time driving and thankfully not crashing it is so bad outside, moving things around, unpaid time from work. Oh yeah it took 15 minutes to install the window. Seriously I don't think I have seen a business who seems to me as if they blatantly don't want your business as odd as that sounds.
