Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Chuck's Marine performed a $Water Test of the boat It ran poorly and the steering was too tight They should have corrected these issues before sending me on my way for a summer of boating I have a long history with having Chuck's Marine make my boat perfect on an annual basis Their customer service and mechanical work on my boat this year were unacceptable It is clear from [redacted] receipt's that they corrected the oversight's of Chuck's Marine Regards, [redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason the complaint will be closed Answered]

In reference to the complaint filed by [redacted] , I would like to say that we went above and beyond to try and solve the problem for him. We have, over a period of time, replaced all of the steering components. Many of the replacements were done at my expense. The steering has... improved as much as it can be improved. We even lake tested the boat to make sure it was working correctly under a load.

In regards to Re: ID # *** - Chuck's Marine Service, it has taken me this long to get the negligent work of Chuck's Marine repaired by outside sources per the two attached receipts Chuck's was paid to do the repairs, they failed to do them properly, Chuck himself would not even look at the incorrectly performed work and told me to take the boat elsewhere Unbelievable I want this information posted to my public complaint I have also attached Chuck's Invoice Thanks, *** ***

As you can see from my receipt, we did not work on the carburetor or the choke on Mr***’s boat. I am very familiar with *** *** *** * ***. He specializes in trailers and towing and works on an occasional boat. His receipt indicates that he “inspected” the rudder but does not state what he found. He also indicates that he installed rudder pin & adjusted but still does not expand on why this was needed. At this time, I don’t see any details that would prove that this issue was related to the work we performed on Mr***’s boat
