Terrible experience! My refrigerator stopped cooling and I contacted Chuck via telephone the first time on Friday 2/21/2020. He said he would be out that day. He showed up at 5:20 pm, and since the compressor kicked back on when he touched something in the control panel, his diagnosis was "a loose wire". He charged me $100.00. The fridge stopped cooling over night (Saturday). I texted him Sunday about the situation and asked that he not charge me a service call fee again. He did not respond until Monday after 1pm. Over text he explains that he should have make it clear what he charges, which is $150 the first hour, $50 an hour after, or $200.00 after hours or weekends. He assured me of 30 years experience and HVAC Certifications and he "guarantees and warranties his work". So he shows up after 5pm that day and this time when he took off the control panel cover, he tells me he is going to replace the ends on the wires to the thermostat in hopes that it will work, otherwise he will have to bring a new one for $80. While doing that he tripped the breaker. That was on Monday 2/24/2020. The fridge stopped cooling again overnight. I made an appointment with another company at this point. Wednesday the 25th, Chuck messages me asking if the fridge is working. I responded unfortunately not. He never responded, until 3/1/2020 when I received another attempt to collect another $100.00 thru the App he used for accepting payment. When I texted him about that, he texts a long winded excuse about the App, and tells me I need a new controller for $175.00. After another service company diagnosed my fridge, showed me that the ends that were cut off by Chuck was for no logical reason, all Chuck did was extend the wires, spliced them, and used electrical tape. No wing nuts. I contacted Chuck to ask him to return the $100.00 since he "guarantees" his work, and his response was "why would you call another company with not even a quarter of the experience I have as well as the schooling I have to second-guess my diagnosis. Either way I am done with this. You will get another bill from me if I hear anything more about this".

was a no-show for repairs four times, failed to fulfill his warranty, and is now ignoring calls and texts.
On 5/6/17 I was given a used dryer and purchased a used washer from *** for $200 cash. The dryer was a "thank you" as part of a separate deal with my father. It was promised to be in good working order. He supplied a written warranty for 3 months against any defects in either appliance. He also told me about a brick and mortar store he used to run that I can find no evidence for. The next day the washer began having problems and I contacted him. He said was a simple fix and promised to be back out in a couple days. I called and set another time. He again failed to come. On 5/30/17 I texted (his requested form of contact) saying I was still having problems and that now the dryer wasn't working well. Again no response. I called multiple times during the month of May with no answer. Finally the motor completely failed on 6/28. I called and got no answer. I texted to ask for quick repair or refund and told him this was the final chance to make his service right. From what I can tell online he has changed his number several times in the past few years and has other identical complaints.

Desired Outcome

I cold not go any longer without a working washer and had to buy another set. I would like the $200 I paid for the washer to be refunded. I would also like *** to improve his repair work, follow through with his warranties or stop offering them, and communicate with his customers.
