I am rejecting this response because:
 
He is completely wrong about where the leak is. It is NOT the window on the flat roof in the 2nd floor bathroom. That window never had any leak. On the contrary, the one that is leaking is the one that leaked when he was working on the roof. That time he claimed it was the wind blowing off the cover that caused the leak, and he said he fixed it. Only eight months later, the same window leaked again. I'm tired and sick of having to cut open the ceiling in the bedroom again. I'm even more tired of trying to contact him many times to get an appointment, wait for him to show up, and he never appear, without a single word of explanation.
 
I found his arrogant attitude toward customer extremely disturbing. Within eight months of completion of the job, the roof leaked three times. The window in the bathroom that he said prone to leak actually didn't leak. Where did he find his arrogance with such a lousy record? Without even knowing what the problem is, he just blindly blamed the leak on me in the response. 
 
He needs to come to seriously check the problem, keep his appointment with customer or give a notice if cannot make it, like a professional. The 10-yr workmanship warranty in the contract comes with responsibilities, they're not just a bunch of words.

customer's request, and now he has a leak.  Per our conversation regarding July 19, 2014, I told him I would try to stop by if my schedule allowed it that day.  I left for vacation shortly after that and will not be returning until August 4, 2014.  At that time, I will contact [redacted] to see if there is a leak in the actual roof.  However, as stated before, any leak from the window was caused by the customer's insistence it remain in place against my recommendation.  Therefore, I should not be liable for such damages.

Review: Chuck's roofing replaced my old roof in Nov 2013 with a 10 year workmanship warranty. About 2 weeks ago, after a heavy rain, I found two dimples on the window ceiling sheet-rock. The sheet-rock felt soft and damp. I could make holes using my fingers. I got a contractor come next day to take a look and got confirmed there was leak inside. On July 16 2014, I sent an email to Chuck requesting an inspection. On the next day, Chuck told me over the phone that he would come to my house on July 19. But he did not show up without any explanation. Since then he has not answered any of my emails, phone calls or text messages. Even after his uncle who recommended Chuck for my roof work called him several times and told him that I might take legal enforcement actions, we still didn't receive any responses from Chuck.Desired Settlement: Either he honors his warranty to fix the problem or I hire someone else to fix the problem and charge him for any cost.
