I went to the gas station to get both diesel and regular gasoline... I put $7.80 in diesel in a gas can and was trying to put $10.00 in Regular Unleaded 87 gasoline in my vehicle. I opened my gas cap to my car, took the pump off the hook, selected Unleaded 87 (at pump # 1) and before I even had put the nozzle into my gas tank the pump was already showing that I had dispensed $0.44, I pressed the "help" button on the pump 3x, and then proceeded to ask another patron to ask the clerk to come outside to address the issue, the clerk at the time however decided that banging on the store window and waving me inside was more appropriate then coming outside to see what the issue was. At which time I hung up the pump and went in the store, explained what had happened at which time he told me that he was not going to reset the pump back to the original $10.00 I had paid for and that because no one "saw" me NOT pump the $0.44, he was not going to reset the pump and that I had $9.56 left to pump, I said I am not losing out on the money and I wanted it reset, he again refused, and I said that's fine, however I want my $9.56 and that I would go else where. At which point I did so! This all took place on Thursday 1/16/14 at approx. XX:XX-XX:XXpm at pump #1 at Chucky's Citgo 484 Main St. Oxford, MA XXXXXProduct_Or_Service: GasolineDesired SettlementI would like my $0.44 but more importantly I would like the pump to be checked out by Weights and Measurements Dept. as well is having the general public and Revdex.com be aware of the unprofessionalism and disrespect showed to me by this establishment!! I purchased a [redacted] cigarette rolling machine on [redacted] The machine is defective and will not roll cigarettes. I went back to the store on [redacted] with the machine and the receipt and they refused to do an exchange for me.Product_Or_Service: [redacted]Desired SettlementI originally just wanted an exchange but am now going to buy one elsewhere so at this point I would like a refund of [redacted] plus tax.Business Response hi,I hear about this meter from my employ.she was at the store in afternoon shift. and my employee request her to come back in the late afternoon and she insists do the refund and her attitude was not good. why the employee did not take back the return is 1- our policy we do-not take any return on cigarette machines. we have very clear notice at the display. 2- vendor did not allow us to take any return.so we donot get any refund from company. but at the same time if she reed the information then all information about the refund or any complaint about the machine is in the box. and she can call the vendor directly and let them know about the problem.why the vendor did not allow us to do the refundthis is very unfortunate some customer take the machine at home and they change the part with the old one and bring back. I am not saying in this case but thats the reason vendor did not allow us to make any return.I hope u understand my point but still if u need any information u can write on my e-maili did not find any link where I upload the picture of which shows the no return on all cigrette machine. at the display Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)First of all there is NO clear sign that I saw that said No Refunds on Cigarette machines. And if that was the case, why didn't the employee point that sign out to me? If there is a sign, he must have recently put it up.Secondly, I was in the store at [redacted] on [redacted] to make the purchase. When I returned on [redacted] at [redacted] employee was already on the phone with the owner and said "I have a return coming in." I was told to come back in the morning to talk to the owner. I have to work and could not come in the morning. I asked if the owner could come now so we could discuss. It was never mentioned that it was policy - he just said no return or exchange. Is it not a state law that they have to offer 30 day money back guarantee. Needless to say - I will not be shopping at this store ever again.
