I am rejecting this response because:The owner Jimmy D did call me on June 27th and changed his original decision He has agreed to give me a refund once they are able to come in and rip-out my current carpet He said it will take a few weeks (I guess too busy or vacations) and I agreed We tentatively sfor first week of August I will let you know once my refund has been issued to my credit company and I thank you for your time. ADD"L INFOear Jimmy D (co-owner A&J Flooring Outlet), I just wanted to follwith you in regards to our 6/27/conversation where you had a change of heart and agreed to a full refund of $for my SECOND defective carpeting This amount reflects the original purchase of $(less $650.00) that had previously been refunded due to change of price from first defective carpet to second selection You mentioned that you all were busy right now and we tentatively agreed to the first week of August for carpet removal and subsequent refundI would like to get a specific date set so I have ample time to get my house ready since I am disabled and am in need of assistance in clearing out the rooms You said you could either cut me a check or you could go ahead and refund *** (your in-house credit company) and I wish for *** to be refunded since I have not paid them yet (due to defects) You mentioned I would have to sign paperwork, so just let me know when you would want me to come in and take care of that On another note, I had submitted my complaint to Revdex.com prior to this latest conversation and I reflected that in my response to them today (7/7/16)Thank you and look forward to a swift resolution to this matter. *** ***

My guys did not tear the furniture, and Jimmy the Owner offered her $just to make her happyShe says it in her complaint she paid years agoNow she want's us to recover a chair that cost her $and cost us $to recover? Tell us why here

We did install 2 different carpets in Mrs. [redacted]'s house, and they both were defective.  We have stood behind every defective installation, and we are willing to stand behind this one as well.  The carpet manufacturer is willing to pay to have her carpet replaced again.  We did not...

install seconds in her house either.  Every piece of carpet has been first quality, she has just had bad luck with getting 2 different defective pieces of carpet.  We even used a different manufacturer from the first installation, so they weren't even the same manufacturer.  No carpet manufacturer will issue a refund for defective carpet.  They will only replace the defective carpet.  We have been trying to get Mrs. [redacted] to select a third piece of carpet so we can replace it for her, but she has been unwilling to do that.  We cannot issue a refund like she is asking, we can only replace the defective carpet.  The perfect example is if you buy a car, and the engine is bad, they replace the engine.  They do not give you your money back for the car.  We have to correct the problem, not refund the money.
