Stenhouse Renovations has completed two renovation projects in our home The first, a major kitchen and bathroom in and a second bathroom in They also completed two other small projects: built an garden arbor for the backyard and installed a garage entry door and garage windowWe enjoyed dealing with Don and his staff as they were professional, quality focused and dedicated to the best result possible and it shows in the renovations We are planning another home renovation in the future and will definitely use this company again
Clean work environment, no corners cut. Hidden surprises were identified during demolition and handled professionally and most cost effective. Coordination between trades were symphonic and effective as an MLB franchise working for the pennant. You couldn't ask for better project management. Eye for detail was exemplary, nothing was overlooked or covered up. Crews showed up when they said they would. We were called immediately if they were not able to arrive at the appointed time. At no time did we ever feel we were left on the back burner waiting. All work (including structural, electrical, plumbing and tile setting) exceeded code requirements. Stenhouse Renovations has a strong relationship with all of the suppliers making our selection process much easier. We as the clients were included as a partner in the project, they listened and helped to work out a solution that would work and we would be happier with. Other contractors we interviewed would not steer outside their packaged products and designs. I have seen the craftsmanship of the area's top renovators. They comprise of many crews working on multiple projects. I was able to inspect their work and that of their showrooms. I have done finish carpentry as a hobby in the past and it did not take much time to identify their flaws and poor joinery. Their rewards as renovators of the year was no match to Stenhouseâ finished product. There were a couple of minor issues that were missed in the original quote and one or two items that were inferred but not recorded. The project manager was very approachable and was able to work toward an agreement on both sides. These were small items and easily fixed. Stenhouse has enough experience to factor in most behind the wall surprises, itâs always best for the client to have a percentage of the total project cost allocated to these contingencies right at the start. We had 10% which was more than enough to cover these incidentals. This project was done on time, on budget and above the initial scope. We would be honored to recommend Stenhouse renovations to anyone who are looking to improvements, upgrades or additions to their current home.
