it sounds like she is going to do what she wants and not deal with me, she owes me more money that what it will to complete repairs even with her doing the repairs that do not to be done and , that isfine , I think she should save all the invoices and show me what she has done , snice I am paying the bill I am entitled to see what she paid and I should receive the balance , Tell us why here

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I am rejecting this response because: The roof replacement was completed on December 30, Multiple leaks have occured since that date and I have made countless attempts to contact [redacted] (the ***), [redacted] and the main office asking to make necessary repairsI have sent a certified letter on April 13, giving Merritt Construction business days to make the repairs in order for me to pay them the final amountThe issues listed in the letter were partially addressed, but the roof leaked again in mid May and subsequntly damaged the repairs that were done on the interior of the home (ceiling paint done my Merritt)It is worth noting, that I never received a final bill from [redacted] I have informed [redacted] promptly that the main issue with the leak has not been resolvedI have not received any communication from [redacted] until this response from Revdex.comI have since hired a roofing company to rip out the shingles (and the replace them) in order to replace the rotten chimney siding and underlayment to fix the source of the leak on June I have resolved the issue with the leak, made repairs to the interior of the home and addressed electrical issues [redacted] has been given more than sufficient amount of time (December 2015- May 2016) to provide satisfactory services to get paidI made a decision to hire other professionals with the funds that were originally due to be paid to David Merritt CoI am very sorry to hear about the ***'s health issuesThroughout this process I have made sure that other people in his office ( [redacted] , [redacted] and [redacted] ) are aware of my situation and are given an opportunity to make the necessary arrangements to complete the job to my satisfactionNo further service is required and I will not be remitting any payments to [redacted] Regards, [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because: The contractor is still not returning calls to the property management company, and the leak is coming down directly through the middle of the house, not near the siding. He told me that he would call the property management company to speak with them about it and set up a time to look at the roof leak but he has not called nor has he returned any of their calls. the roof is not leaking, the siding is in bad shape and the trim has big gaps . I did repairs on the roof 2 years ago and told then that repairs needed to be made to the siding I have been their to confirm that,my roof go to their flashing which goes under their siding I can not warranty the siding,... if my roof was leaking I would be more than happy to take care of itI

she had the work done , so I have no choice , the roof leak was caused by all the roofers she had on the roof , everyone of them had to lift up shingles to look at flashing , it did not leak after I did the repair , I am willing to pay for her costs , even thought I do not agree with them , I think I should be entitled to see the invoices on what was done , if it was her money she would not of paid some one $1,to repair when at least others were nowhere close to that , either way if I could get a copy of all the invoices, we can resolve this and all walk away happy

sorry about taking long to responce , I was out of the country for a couple weeks and just found the complaint , I have talked to Ron , my guy did go out and repair the leak , it was the wall siding leaking and not my roof job, we did take care of it

After the leak in Feb , my guy [redacted] did go out , the tenants will verify, the original leak before we started was 4' below the chimney ' when [redacted] went back out the water was 8' below the chimney so he seal shingles in that area , it leaked again so he went back and found out it was leaking in...

original spot but coming in at a different spot so he repaired it ,it did not leak so we repaired the ceiling which was already damaged ,so we repair new and old damaged and painted the ceiling complete even took care of three other repairs by stairs from years earily that did not blend in good,it she even text me saying thank you for a good and professonial job. did not leak for a couple of rains, yet Mrs [redacted] had 5 plus roofers come by who were walking and lifting shingles,for no reason what so ever .after all her people were their it leaked again , I was they when one of her roofers were their he said he seen nothing wrong with the roof except for the people walking on it in the heat, the $1,900 is a unreal amount to do what needs to be done , it just needs to be reseal from people lifting shingles , 30 mins of work, she is choosing the highest price person just to do something that does not need to be done. I did meet a wood guy out there and he said the wood may dry out , it was a very small area , and that the cheaper filler wood at the bottom absorbed some water , I did drop the ball after that , I spent 6 days in [redacted] with [redacted], 3day out and 7 days back in for [redacted], 10 days of bed rest after that., if Mrs [redacted] would be kind enough to meet me and give me one more shoot ,I will make her happy and resolve this
