I am disputing the charge of $for carpet replacement that was deducted as damages from my security deposit I lived at Ranch Village for years When I moved into the apartment in 2013, the carpeting was new I do not smoke, had no pets, and mostly wore slippers indoors so as not to track dirt on the carpet I also used my back door off the kitchen to bring in groceries and to come in and out of the apartment to help keep the carpet clean After turning in my lease termination notice, I received a letter dated August 2, from Goudreau Management outlining what I needed to do upon vacating the apartmentOne of the requirements was to have the carpet cleaned On September 24, 2018, I paid $to have the carpet in the living room, bedroom, hallway and closets professionally steam cleaned by Cleveland Steamer It was clean when I turned in the keys on October 1, 2018, with no furniture marks or “excessive ground in dirt that cannot be cleaned to manufacturer’s s

I signed a year lease with the company on July 31, My lease is up August 1, I am a current tenant and I wrote a letter that was received by your office on may 31st, when I contacted Shari today 6/16/I was told that my letter was received to late however the lease states no less than days prior to the commencement of any termMy letter was received exactly days before my lease would endI would like resolve in the matter I was an excellent tenant and I paid my rent on time every month, never late and always had good communication and no problems with anyone on property or with the management or leasing office

Two is the best I can do star-wise, and that's really only because I generally have had no problems However, on at least a few occasions when I've tried to go to the housing office to pay my rent, the building was closed before it was supposed to be, according to the hours of operation posted on the building One of the last times I've gone to pay rent, it was at least minutes before, but this time it was at least 20! I was livid, and it even looked like I saw the person who closed the building, in her car as I was trying to open the locked door, but she drove off anyway Some people have jobs, so they can't necessarily come there in the morning or afternoon to pay I arrived at 6:the last time, and 6:or earlier this time The sign says closed at on weekdays, and the door was locked when I tried to open it I believe this is completely unacceptable

Recently moved out of my apartment at *** ***This was my 3rd apartment thereI never had any issues moving out the 1st two timesThis 3rd time however, I received my Damage Report and was charged $for "Cleaning Carpets; Remove Furniture marks"I called them and they said I should have had the carpets professionally cleaned before moving outI never wore shoes in my apartment and the carpets were kept in good conditionAnytime you have furniture with Carpet you will get marksApartments should be cleaning carpets after someone moves out for sanitary reasons in the 1s place which would remove furniture marksOnly marks that would have been there was from my couch$to remove a couch mark seems a little ridiculousThey also tried to charge me $for "replacing a blind" and $for "replacing kick plate on the living room storm door" which I questioned because everything was fine when I leftThey said they had to refund that to me because they didn't have pictures of proofWatch your damage reports and question everything little thing because they will try and charge you for damages that weren't even there
