The home was marketed and sold “As-Is” with the exemption of a one year structural
warranty since it was years oldIt was sold at a reduced price from the
original value of $878,plus it included all the furniture and
decorations
The home had been maintained by Home Team pest control since it was built and
had been used as a modelWhen the property was sold to the customer it was
explained that it was drastically reduced to the new price since it was an
older home and it was recommended that it be inspected by the customer or a third-partyThe customer had a third-party inspection and we agreed to fix problems
that were found. We also had Home Team do a final treatment of the home against
insects and pestsNo one found any evidence of an on going problem with pests After the customer moved in they found a pack (kangaroo) rat
living in a section of the attic that had always been closed upWe have agreed
to pay for the attic and insulation to be cleanedThe customer would prefer to
remove it and replace with a newer productWe have agreed to pay for the
removal and the customer has now agreed to pay for new insulationThis
complaint has been resolved
