Review: The owner of this restaurant did not honor the contract, out of the contract there was no heater in the hall and the owner of the restaurant was kicking all of us out without a good cause, He even took the money without giving the proper service. Therefore, I please ask if there is anything else that can be done about this because we are very upset that this kind of situation has happened to us.Desired Settlement: Give us the money back

Review: Chutney Restaurant[redacted], VA [redacted]###-###-####We had a verbal agreement with the owner of Chutney Restaurant, **. [redacted] (or [redacted]). The first 50 people who attended our party would cost $900.00, and any additional people will cost $18.00 per person. We had total of 67 guests. This included 7 children, in which there was 1 child that was 2 years old. The other children were 3 years old, and two were four years old. The total charges should have been $1206. At the end of the night he states that there were 95 people. We were shocked about that because we only invited 60 adults. We counted the seats available in the restaurant, and the total available was only 76. We told him there were only have 76 seats in the restaurant, and questioned how he could charge for 95 people. He charged us for 78 seats instead. We paid him $1400 and did not argue with him at the time, because we had some guests still with us. As we were leaving, we also caught him (via the window) smoking a cigarette inside the restaurant with his colleague. When we came home we verified the guest list and there were only 67 people including kids. Note that he had charged us for those empty seats. When we called him the next morning and told him that there were only 67 people (including kids), and he had over charged me and he should return $194. He refused and he was rude. He had poor service. We also have the picture of all the guest in sitting at the restaurant, the count is 67 people including kids.Desired Settlement: Return of $194 that he took in excess.
