In our defense, I must point out that no one from our management team has ever been contacted by Mr. [redacted] regarding this matter,...
otherwise we could certainly have expedited the process for him. I also need to point out that Gambino Realtors does not own this house. The earnest money was being held on behalf of both the buyer and seller in our escrow account which is closely monitored by the State of Illinois. By law, we cannot refund any earnest money until both parties have directed us to do so in writing. I have contacted the other party and have made arrangements to have Mr. [redacted] refund by the end of business today.
