Dear Madam,on 6/8/15 mr. [redacted] brought in his 1989 f 250 for engine repair. on 6/19/15 the 460 engine was removed and disassembled . it was shipped to engine machine shop on 6/23/15 where it stayed at until 8/6/15 since it was the middle of racing season and they were very busy, so I had to wait...

inline as everyone else. I informed mr. [redacted] since the engine was going to be installed in a car soon in the future, about changing the engine and the system into carbureted where it can have unlimited variables to make more power and torque or more bang for the buck, mr. [redacted] agreed . at that time I let him know that roughly it would be a few days to a weeks time to assemble the engine on screen in the configuration he had decided . mr. [redacted]'s reply was to get it done and ordered the parts needed. a few weeks later mr. [redacted] contacted me and said that he did not want to spend a great deal of money on that truck changing it from electronic fuel injection to carburetion so I deleted that draft completely, returned engine components and began another draft assembling his engine just as it came from the factory except for now I had to change a few internal components since some of the cylinder head work had already been started for a carbureted engine and I had to compensate for the increase in volume. mr. [redacted] agreed on engine #2 so I place a new order and exchanged engine #1 components and again back to the machine shop to redo valve train .mr [redacted] came in to the shop on 10/30/15 to pay down on his engine and to change the engine . now i'm on engine #3, which took me a weeks time to draw up. this is going to be a carbureted engine with a great amount of horsepower and torque at the request of mr. [redacted]. which is later to be transferred into a fox body mustang, and mr. [redacted] does not want to spend anymore money in the future doing any further modifications to the engine. I have returned all the fuel injection engine components and have ordered all internals different for more power, torque and durability for the last time. I cannot continue to play checkers.the engine is back at  the machine shop and hopefully it will be done within the 2nd week of december . I truly understand mr. [redacted]s disappointment in not having his vehicle completed and returned. I can assure him that without any further changes in this final engine style or configuration that the finish product will speak for itself and he will be very happy and satisfied knowing he got power plant he can be proud of and a great price. thank you, chuy

MS. [redacted] THIS IS IN REGARD TO 2ND COMPLAINT LETTER ID #[redacted] ON DATE 1/5/16 .PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT WE ARE CONVERTING MR. [redacted] ENGINE AND HIS TRUCK FROM FUEL INJECTION TO  CARBURETED AND THE 466 ENGINE IS 3/4 DONE AND I AM FINISHING THE 2ND PAIR OF CYLINDER HEADS SINCE HIS ORIGINAL PAIR WAS DESIGNED FROM THE FACTORY FOR FUEL INJECTION ONLY WITH SMALL INTAKE PORTS, SMALL VALVES, AND A VERY SMALL AND VERY RESTRICTIVE EXHAUST PORTS . I COULD NOT DO ANYTHING WITH THEM .THE REASON FOR THE CHANGE IS TO TAKE EFFECT OF THE COMPLETE CUBIC INCH AND FLOW VALUE OF THE ENGINE ITSELF.  MR HESTER WILL NOT RECEIVE AN ENGINE THAT MAKES NOISE BUT ONE THAT RUNS AS IT WAS INTENDED AND DESIGNED TO. ALSO I AM REWIRING HIS TRUCK FROM FUEL INJECTION AND ELIMINATING THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE  AND ALL ENGINE HARNESS THAT WILL NO LONGER BE NEEDED SO THAT THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT LOOKS CLEAN AND NOT RIGGED. I AM ALSO REDOING HIS FUEL SYSTEM FROM THE FUEL TANK FORWARD TO THE ENGINE SINCE ITS BEING CONVERTED FROM FUEL INJECTION TO CARBURETED . THE COOLING SYSTEM AND THE HEATER CORE AS WELL IS BEING AND HAS BEEN DONE .THE FUEL LINKAGES ALONG WITH A NEW CLUTCH SET IS  ALSO REPLACED. THE EXHAUST SYSTEM IS ALSO BEING CHANGED SINCE IT IS GOING TO BE EQUIPPED WITH A HIGH FLOWING EXHAUST SYSTEM TO TAILOR THE ENGINE FOR MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE .MR HESTER WILL HAVE HIS TRUCK FINISHED ON OR BEFORE THE 2/12/16 . TIME CONSUMPTION IS IN CYLINDER HEAD FLOW WORK AND TESTING, WHICH REFERS TO REMOVING METAL VIA CUTTING TO GET THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF FLOW POSSIBLE , CONVERSION, FABRICATION WORK ,TESTING , AND FINAL TUNING, BEFORE DELIVERY . THANK YOU.

The truck is not finished.
