I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution
is satisfactory to me. I wanted to let you know that, although I have had no communication from Tom (owner of Hardtland Company), after I filed the complaint with the Revdex.com, two workers did come out and complete the necessary work. Since I have not had any communication regarding further payment, I am wondering if you can advise me how to proceed. Per the contract I signed, I did pay 50% up front but have not received a final bill or heard anything from Hardtland regarding final payment. Beyond just trying to get things done, there were significant problems with this job, including the fact that my roof leaked twice (causing extensive damage to the ceiling of my bedroom) due to negligence on the part of the workers. Because I paid to have the ceiling repaired myself, canceled a portion of the work due to the problems I was having and expect a discount due to the inconvenience created by the leaks, I do not expect to pay much beyond the 50% I already paidDo I have any further legal responsibility at this point regarding payment or (as I assume) is it up to Hardtland to contact me?
