Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
My Refund has nothing to do with GrouponI used those Groupon Vouchers on procedures in February I only mentioned Groupon in My Complaint because Pacific Cielo was charging the same price for my new proceduresThe procedure that I am asking for a refund for is the one that the Doctor stopped because Dr*** said I had a reaction to LidocaineIt made the procedure unsafe
Pacific Cielo referred me to Dr*** Office in LaMesa after cancelling Appointments that I had with Dr*** at the Pacific Cielo Office*** said My price would be the same with Dr*** as Pacific Cielo was chargingWhen Dr*** charged more I went back to Pacific Cielo for the refundDr*** in LaMesa is not in any way tied to Pacific Cielo financiallyThey just except for referrals from Pacific CieloThe refund of $should come from Pacific CieloThey charged me for a procedure that was not performed

Review: Hello, I am writing to report that Pacific Cielo Surgery Center has owed me a $599 refund on a procedure [redacted] charged me for that was not performed. I was going to have a liposuction procedure on 2 areas of My body. The right hip and the left side hip. We agreed to His Groupon Rate at $599 each side. I put a down payment of $250 on 3/15/2013 and the surgery date was on 3/27/2013. While in surgery, the Doctor decided to stop early and do only 1/2 of one hip for safety reasons. [redacted] charged me $948. I asked for a refund for at least one side while in His Office, which was $599. [redacted] said if he refunded the $599 then He will charge me the regular retail price when I do the reschedule. He was going to have Dr. [redacted] do the surgery in the Pacific Cielo office at the same price. I was scheduled for Dr. [redacted] on April 20, 2013 at Pacific Cielo . The Staff called me to cancelled it on April 18th. [redacted] did not give Me a refund. [redacted] then referred Me to Dr. [redacted] Surgery Center in La Mesa and I had the 2 sides of the hips lipoed in June 2013. The price was $1000 each hip-$2000 more dollars. I have spoken and written [redacted] for the past year for the $599 Refund and He keeps telling Me he will look into it. He is not giving Me the $599 that is owed to Me.Desired Settlement: Hello, I would like to receive the $599 refunded to My Credit Card.

This patient is very confused and after numerous phone conversations she is refusing to understand the process. Groupon deals work this way; the vouchers are purchase directly from Groupon and payment is made dirt to Groupon. If for any reason the buyer of the voucher disputes or does not get the services, then they can contact Groupon for a refund or credit. Groupon is a separate company and not part of our clinic. We do not have control over their procedures. She needs to contact Groupon for her refund.

Review: I paid this company $9000 in advance to have procedures done at their office in January of 2013. I had one of the procedures done in March or April at a cost of $1470. Since I am moving, and will be unable to have the rest of the procedures done, I contacted this company Nov 5th, 2013, and talked to [redacted], who I believe is the office manager. I advised him of my move, that my credit card had been changed due to unauthorized charges, and requested a refund of the unused balance. At that time, [redacted] seemed very helpful and willing to work with me. He advised me he would look into my account, asked me to email him a reminder, and that he would call me back with the information. After about a week of communication, the company stopped answering my calls, did not respond to any messages I sent, and did not return my calls. I have not heard back from [redacted] or anyone at Pacific Cielo since 11/12/2013. I have attempted to contact them at least twice a week since then. I'm making this complaint with the Revdex.com on Dec 27th, 2013.Desired Settlement: The amount of the refund Pacific Cielo owes me is $7530. I talked to my credit card company, and they can refund it to my old card number.

Review: I inquired about a procedure, was offered an amazing price if I made a deposit immediately, was told the deposit would be 100% refundable, no questions asked. He ([redacted]) said I could cancel my procedure and get a refund for any reason and he made a joke about "even if it's just because I don't like the color of his socks." I made the deposit for the procedure and asked for him to send me the total out of pocket cost for the procedure by email so I would have it in writing. I asked repeatedly. [redacted] finally admitted that the verbal estimate was for lipo on ONE arm so the cost would be double and there were some other costs and the total would be 3x his initial quote. After reading yelp reviews for the business and having difficulty getting the representative to be forthcoming, I cancelled the procedure and requested the deposit refund. I was told the refund would be processed immediately. That was in September. I've called over and over and been told that it had either been processed or that they'd check into it and call me right back. I have not ever received a return call. It is my belief that they do not return refunds intentionally and just hope that most people will drop it and go away. Yelp is filled with reviews from people that say [redacted] has done this to them.Desired Settlement: Refund the $250 deposit to my credit card as promised
