Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] specifically told [redacted] /owner of Cimarron Guttering to not touch the metal drip edge, or any roofing material on each patio I was looking straight at [redacted] when and I said this and he agreedWe were fine with installing Guttering below the drip edge on the patios, but we would never allow any Guttering to touch the drip edge [redacted] /Cimarron Guttering never told [redacted] that they were going to bend the metal drip edge, cut the metal drip edge, put screws in the metal drip edge, push up on the metal drip edge, push so hard on the metal drip edge that it would cause all of the nails in the above roofing material to come lose, and push so hard on the metal drip edge that now water can not come off the patio roofs in locations ( pictures are documented on all items before and after the damage was caused by [redacted] /Cimarron Guttering)I took a water hose on both the patio roofs and watched how the water flows and documented pictures of these areasThe roofing company we use is very high quality, and they go all over the state of Oklahoma After the homeowner and the roofing company went over with Cimarron Guttering obviously what they had done wrong, the owner [redacted] still seemed very confused That is why a gutter install worker with Statewide roofing also came on the phone Like I have stated before, I have not seen this much damage from a gutter company in years since I have been dealing with roofing You could see the damage to the metal drip edge caused by Cimarron Guttering from the ground and from the road It looked terrible We have a nice house and in a nice neighborhood Nobody would except this poor quality work by [redacted] /Cimarron GutteringCimarron Guttering has damaged all of my drip edge on both patio roofs and the roofing material above themWhat we are finding out is that Cimarron Guttering’s Website is not telling the truth Insured for your protection: Cimarron Guttering’s insurance company has not called us even once to take care of the damage caused by [redacted] /Cimarron Guttering We are wondering if Cimarron Guttering has dropped their insurance/stopped paying for it, or if the insurance company has dropped themSo get ready, if they cause damage Cimarron Guttering will run from your job as fast as they can Quality Workmanship Guaranteed:Cimarron Guttering did not even finish our guttering job They are just walking off They have caused us more than $in damages and costs One year warranty:It appears this does not exist Will not finish the gutter job Will not help with any damages that they cause [redacted] /Cimarron Guttering installed gutter heads They told me that they knew how to install these After the install, all gutter heads leaked One gutter head had more water running on the outside of it then on the inside of it Cimarron Guttering was supposed to come back and repair these They never will let me know if they repaired them or not If [redacted] has to hire another gutter company to repair them, then Cimarron Guttering will be responsible for these costsMy wife and I will work out some payment plans for Cimarron Guttering to help with the damages and costs they have cause on our house We are willing to sign a form where they can pay us in one to four installments If [redacted] /Cimarron Guttering is not willing to help with these costs, then we will move forward with the court systemHome Owner: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:Again, the homeowner/*** *** brought over Cimarron Guttering before the guttering job began I told *** ***/Owner of Cimarron Guttering to not touch the metal drip edge or roofing material on both front and back patio roofs I did state that he could install guttering below these areas, but not touching them No means No The guttering company then went and did what they wanted to do instead of doing what the homeowner asked them to do *** ***/Owner of Cimarron Guttering never told me that he was going to cut the metal drip edge, bend the metal drip edge, push up on the metal drip edge, move each piece of metal drip edge up at different heights, separate pieces of drip edge apart from each other, and push up on the drip edge so hard that the nails below the roofing material on the patios would start coming up.There is a lot of sqft of roofing material on this house How is it, there are only nails that are lose and coming up at the perimeter of the areas where *** ***/Cimarron Guttering was working on the patio roofs? The nails will not even move unless someone from below pushes so hard on the metal drip edge below to make them come up There was tight roofing material on top of these nails before Cimarron Guttering worked on these patios, and the roofing material will not allow the nails to move unless someone pushes so hard up on the metal drip edge.Not only is the metal drip edge damaged in one place on the patio roofs, there is damage everywhere We have the pictures to show this There are cuts in the drip edge, bends in the drip edge, separation within the drip edge, and now each piece of drip edge is at the different height or levelAnd, Yes because Cimarron Guttering bent up the drip edge so much there ended up being places where water could not even run off the roofs.Cimarron Guttering states that they are an A+ company So, why is it when I look on Angie's list there is a complaint against them Appears someone hired them for guttering, and then Cimarron Guttering would not come back and correct their mistakes Then when I look on the Enid Buzz website, there is another complaint about Cimarron Guttering.I pulled up Cimarron Guttering's website again today, and it still states "Insured For Your Protection" You think that they would take this down Isn't this advertising? It is scary to think that Cimarron Guttering does not carry any insurance So, when they cause mistakes and damages, Cimarron Guttering just walks away from the job Our house is like a hit and run car accident Cimarron Guttering hit our house, started realizing how much damage and costs they caused, and then got scared and started running from the job The only thing that I had left to do on the outside of the house was to have the gutters installed I did not want to hire a roofing company to do anymore work The only reason that we had to hire a roofing company again, was to install new custom metal drip edge and roofing material where Cimarron Guttering damagedStatewide Roofing did the work on the metal drip edge and roofing material on the patio roofs They actually make and deal with custom metal drip edge in their shop They now drip edge better than *** ***/Cimarron Guttering The metal drip edge was beyond repair, and had to be replaced The drip edge had bends and cuts in it everywhere Statewide Roofing even stated that the drip edge could not be repaired The metal drip edge looked so bad, and you could even see it from the ground and the road No one that still had their eyesight would be satisfied with this job by Cimarron Guttering.I went over with *** ***/Owner of Cimarron Guttering that all conductor heads were leaking Three of them had water dripping out of them and then one had more water running on the outside of the conductor head then on the inside of it I verbally went over with *** ***/owner about all not working He stated that he would get to them within one week for repairs Now, it sounds like they only repaired one out of the Cimarron Guttering will be responsible for the costs of getting all gutter heads repaired Just another let down from the company Cimarron Guttering.Cimarron Guttering is no longer allowed on the job site, because they stated that they will not finish the job Why do we want *** ***/Owner of Cimarron Guttering just walking around on our property, not willing to finish the job, just causing problems, doing nothing but trying to take more and more pictures to make excuses for all of the damages and costs that he has caused? Have you ever heard the saying, it takes less time to do the job right the first time then to make excuses why you did the job the wrong way This is what happened at our house Cimarron Guttering did the job incorrectly, and now we are going to hear excuses why they did it the wrong way Cimarron Guttering keeps bringing up other contractors on this property This was a couple of years ago, and we have nothing to hide It was specifically one individual and his group of workers Yes, this one group of workers did a high dollar amount worth of damages to our property and were held responsible for it Funny, *** ***/Owner Cimarron Guttering mentions this Because, he/*** ***/Owner of Cimarron Guttering told me stories out in the yard one day how bad these workers were and about some of the bad jobs that they have done on homes in the past Cimarron Guttering has caused damage and costs to our property, and they will be held responsible for this If Cimarron Guttering does not help with the damages and costs, then we will just let the judge make the decision on this case

The homeowner told Cimarron Guttering of complaints that he had with other roofing companies and about some concerns that he had, it was then that Cimarron Guttering explained to the homeowner that the proper way to install the guttering is to tuck it behind the metal drip edge.  The homeowner never mentioned installing the guttering below the drop edge until after meeting with a roofing rep that has very little knowledge of installing guttering.  Cimarron Guttering explained to the homeowner and the roofing rep that hanging the guttering below the drip edge would result in water leaking behind the guttering and causing wood rot.  This is only common sense.  As stated before ALL the complaints from the homeowner that Cimarron guttering caused nails to pop up and so forth are false.  These conditions existed before the guttering was installed and Cimarron Guttering has pictures to prove this to be true.  There was a small area up front where the drip edge had to be cut 3/4 to 1 inch to allow for the end cap to be cleared.  The homeowner may have checked water flow after the guttering was installed, but Cimarron Guttering has pictures that show the condition of the roof and it's very clear the water was not flowing correctly before the guttering was installed.  It was almost a month after the guttering was installed that the homeowner notified Cimarron Guttering of any concerns that he had with the roof.  Cimarron Guttering can not vouch for the reputation of the roofing company because Cimarron Guttering has no knowledge of them.  Cimarron Guttering has been in business under the same name for over 30 years and are a top rated A+ High Quality in Enid, OK and the surrounding areas.  RE: "Insured for your protection" on a website, Cimarron Guttering does very little with the internet.  That website was built as a courtesy by the Yellow Pages Advertiser years ago and Cimarron Guttering does not maintain it.  If you look at the actual Yellow Pages advertisement in the phone book you will see that it does not state that.  RE: Cimarron Guttering not finishing the job, this is not true, the job was finished.  It was AFTER THE homeowner had a roofing company come in to do repairs and upon inspection from Cimarron Guttering it was noted that the same problems still existed, that Cimarron Guttering felt that this homeowner would never be satisfied, so the re-install was declined by Cimarron Guttering.  Cimarron Guttering has pictures.  Cimarron Guttering does guarantee their work and were more than willing to repair the one and only area that needed attention, a very small area where the drip edge had lifted up at a seam.  Instead the homeowner chose to take a different route and unnecessarily called in a roofing company.  The homeowner informed Cimarron Guttering of only 1 of 4 conductor heads leaking, it has been repaired.  This is the first Cimarron Guttering has heard that the other 3 are possible leaking.  At the request of the homeowner Cimarron Guttering is not allowed on the property.  The home is located in a very nice area an area that Cimarron Guttering has installed guttering and downspouts on 95% of the homes without incident.  Cimarron Guttering is aware of this homeowners poor reputation among his neighbors and other contractors.  Cimarron Guttering is not the only company to refuse services to this homeowner, but because Cimarron Guttering had installed guttering at the homeowners previous homes without complaint a benefit of the doubt was given and Cimarron Guttering agreed to do this job.  Cimarron Guttering treated this home with the same high quality work that his previous homes were given.  Cimarron Guttering will not agree to anything without first seeing an
itemized cost list of work from the companies the homeowner has used for
repairs to his roofs in question and even then we are only willing to
refund him $453.75, not as an admission of wrong doing but because
Cimarron Guttering has the materials that the homeowner has paid for in
our possession. This homeowner has become sue happy over his home and
has turned in multiple contractors with false accusations. It is the
belief of Cimarron Guttering that that this homeowner has gotten into a
bad habit of falsely accusing contractors as an attempt to get the work
done at little or no cost to him, he knew the condition of the roofs
were not in good working order before the Guttering was installed and by
attempting to falsely accuse Cimarron Guttering of the damages he felt
he would be able to get away with his roofs getting  repaired without
any expense out of his pocket. Cimarron Guttering has fallen prey to
this homeowners schemes. Pictures don’t lie and as stated before because
Cimarron Guttering is aware of this homeowners poor reputation we made
sure to take pictures, 85 in total from the install day to the day
Cimarron Guttering was notified that repairs had been done to the roofs

they knew how to install these.  After the install, all 4 gutter heads
leaked.  One gutter head had more water running on the outside of it
then on the inside of it.   Cimarron Guttering was supposed to come back
and repair these.  They never will let me know if they repaired them or
not.  If [redacted] has to hire another gutter company to repair
them, then Cimarron Guttering will be responsible for these costs. My
