Recently had to sever my relationship with this company after a long relationship Due to *** credit card data theft we were issued a new credit cardIn fairness we did not update Current Communications with new card info(our account was on auto pay w/credit card)We received no phone call, email or any correspondence of any sort regarding lack of payment They cut us off on a Sunday (no phone or internet)Made multiple calls to number on Sunday it seems they have no Sunday support hoursLeft multiple messages...no calls returnedCalled several times following Mondaywaited more than minutes on hold three times before hanging upFinally got through to find out our account had been closed due to non payment (credit card number change)They told us they could open a new account with a different phone numberbut couldn't reuse the number we have had for years Once again I understand that I did not give them updated card infobut an email...phone callsomething would have been nice I tried to call when the problem arose but I could not get a hold of a company representative for thirty plus hours I truly feel that this situation could have been avoided with better customer service

Customer had also submitted a complaint with the
Ohio Attorney General which was also provided with this same information.

Checked customer account, did see that customer spoke with Representative on 7/14 -  at this time customer received a June credit.  In checking account notes  = Records do not  indicate that customer called in on 4/2 as stated.  Last contact (prior to 7/14 call) was 12/2013...

requesting to change a password.
 
We have credited customer card on file for the requested amount of $59.90 (to cover April and May payments).  Account has been terminated per customer request.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is partially satisfactory to me.  While they did credit the incorrect charge, they did not explain the reason for the discontinuation of the service or apologize for the inconvenience of having to find and get installation of a new internet provider.  After so many years of being a loyal customer, I feel this is really unprofessional of them.

This complaint has been resolved. The company refunded me and sent a letter to say my account is closed. Thanks very much for your help.

The $59.90 has not been credited to my credit card. I have not received written confirmation by email or letter that my account is closed.

Checked on [redacted] account - the account was credited back the $19.95 for the last charge on her credit card and the account has been terminated as she had requested.  A phone call was attempted no answer but did leave a voicemail for the customer that credit was applied and account...

has been terminated.

At some point during the day of April 23, 2014, our internet stopped working. I called the customer support number and heard a message that they were experiencing an outage and they were working to fix it. The next day I called the number again...went straight to voice mail so I left a message to find out if there was an estimate on how long it would be down. No call back. I called the next day...same outage message came on so I went to voice mail again and left another message. No call back. I called the next day (Saturday) and got the same outage message then it rang and someone answered. He could not give me any information only that the techs were trying to figure it our and repair it...no estimate or even what was wrong that the outage occurred (I'm guessing they are clueless). Today is April 29, 2014, sixth day with no internet service and no explanation! Their customer service is horrible and so is there internet service.
