Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThis is a flat our lie by this company and I am offended that they would use my child as an excuse to not take responsibility for their poor work Their response said they have discussed this issue with us in the past This is absolutely not true, never once have they mentioned my child swinging from the door As a father, I would never allow my child to swing from a glass door, nor has she ever even tried to The glass started slipping a week after it was installed Each time they came out, times, they did the same thing to correct it....which never worked Last month I did hire another reputable company to come out and fix the glass door that was banging into the stationary glass The company came out and found the problem immediately Cincinnati Glass installed the door using plastic pieces inside the hinges and they were now broken into several pieces, causing the door to slip Cincinnati Glass also just sprayed silicone around the hinges, which would have no affect on securing the glass This reputable company fixed the issue in one hour by replacing the broken plastic pieces with rubber pieces, which is what should have been used from the beginning It has been over a month since they fixed it and it has not slipped at all I had to pay this other company $to come fix a problem that Cincinnati Glass could not fix in over months I believe they take an easy excuse, like blaming a child, for their poor installation They do not stand behind their work what so ever I understand that our warranty is now void, but even before we hired the other company, they failed to show up for the appointment I scheduled with them and refused to return my calls I would never allow this company back in my house anyway because after times, they have clearly established a record of incompetence by not being able to fix their own work I am seeking reimbursement in the amount of $to cover the cost that we had to pay another company to fix the poor work that Cincinnati Glass did I know I am asking a lot here, but would also like them to tell the truth on the matter and admit that they lied in their response to my complaint They never accused my child of swinging on the door in the past and it was never discussed with anyone in my house It is also a fact that my child has never once swung on the shower glass door [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted]
Business indicated a check was sent at the end of February and was cashed This matter has been resolved They thought the check was going to be sent right away and accounts payable sends them out at the end of the month
