Dear Ms. [redacted], We are in receipt of a complaint ID [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] had a complaint on 3/10/14 for no heat. She was informed that we would send a HVAC technician out but would immediately send space heaters until he could get there. She indicated that she would be home. We sent a...
maintenance man out to deliver the heaters. Two different maintenance men attempted delivery twice each of the heaters, and the tenants was never home. Therefore, she was charged $30 for a missed maintenance call that she indicated she would be home for. We only charged one dry run fee, not four. Further, we sent out a settlement offer on 11/14/14 offering to waive $9 of the $30 fee, requiring tenant to only pay $21 and the debt be satisfied in full. Tenant did not agree to that payment. Regarding the heat, our HVAC technician indicated that the heat was indeed working on the 3/10/14 maintenance call. We did not receive any further maintenance requests for no heat. This Revdex.com complaint is the first I have heard a complaint of no heat since 3/10/14. We will send an HVAC technician out as soon as possible to address the situation. Therefore, tenants request for the fee to be removed is denied as well as the request for apology. Further, no compensation will be made for tenants claimed increase in electric bills.
