My office represents [redacted], d/bla Cinderella’s Cleaning Company. In that
capacity, we are responding to your May 5, 2014 inquiry.
The allegation and only supporting evidence in this matter is the claim that “one of them
got into our...

dresser and stole $600.00.” This allegation was denied by the employees,but nonetheless
taken seriously by Ms. [redacted]. In response, the City of Erie Police conducted an investigation based
on the allegation. The investigation included questioning of all of the employees, Ms. [redacted], and the
alleged victim. Of most significance is that the employees who actually cleaned the room in question
agreed to take lie detector tests. The results of said investigation led to the exoneration of the
employees by the City of Erie Police.
In summary, the alleged victim made an allegation. The allegation was investigated by
Ms. Flickey and by the City of Erie Police. Neither investigation uncovered any evidence supporting
the allegation.
We have no way of knowing if there was actually $600.00 in the room as was alleged.
We also have no information or knowledge as to what other persons may have had access to the
residence. We have no evidence supporting the claim. All we have is an allegation and nothing else.
Based on these facts and the exoneration of the employees by the City of Erie Police, we have no
evidence that would support the claim.
Lastly, my office did send a letter to the claimant because the claimant was harassing
and threatening Ms. [redacted]. The alleged victim certainly has the right to pursue all avenues of legal
redress, but not to harassment.

Review: The cleaning company sent 5 women in to clean our house. One of them got into our dresser in our bedroom and stole $600.00. The owner refuses to pay us back our money and failed to return any of our phone calls. They advertise that they are bonded. We requested information on their bonding company so that we could take up the matter with them, but she refused to give us that information. Then had their attorney write us a threatening letter that we will be filed with suit for harassment if we contact them any further to resolve this issue.Desired Settlement: Repayment of the $600.00 that was stolen and an apology for their unprofessional behavior.
