Review: In March of 2013 we hired Cindy's Glass Tinting (CGT) to install Solar Gard tint on our windows for the purpose of protecting the inside of the house and reducing energy costs. We were verbally told that any and all damage to the windows caused by the tinting would be fully covered by Solar Gard. Within days, 2 of our windows cracked and the seals broke on many others. We contacted Cindy about our issues and she assured us still that all damages would be covered. We did our due diligence and contacted Solar Gard to get more specifics on the product warranty and they told us that seal failure was in fact not covered by the warranty, as we were not the original buyers of the home (which was only 6 years old). Solar Gard did say that CGT needed to issue us a receipt and warranty before any further steps could be taken. We had CGT come out in May to issue us a receipt and warranty. By this time, we had many more windows with broken seals. Her thought was that broken seals would still be covered by the warranty, in spite of how it read. We asked her to write us an addendum to the product warranty that said they would personally cover any damages to the windows not covered by Solar Gard. The windows continued to experience seal breakage as time went on. We insisted that CGT remove the tint so they came out and did so. We then organized a meeting with CGT and a representative from Solar Gard at our home. The Solar Gard representative reiterated that seal breakage was not covered by the tint's product warranty and settlement of these damages was between CGT and us. We then asked Cindy to honor their warranty addendum by giving us our money back and covering the cost to fix all of the windows with broken seals. We had a lawyer issue a letter that asked for the same. To this day we have had no response. We are currently left with a 6 year old house that now has most of the seals broken on its windows.Desired Settlement: We ask that we get our money back for the original work as well as reimbursement for cost of replacing all windows.

Review: For my birthday my fianc took my car to get the windows tinted at Cindy's Glass Tinting, which required him to take my car for the entire day. The morning he left I looked over my entire car for any scratches or damage, understanding that my car was going to be in the hands of someone other than him or I once he dropped the car off. There were no scratches in the paint that morning. He dropped my car off at their shop at 9am and later picked my car up at 2pm and drove it back to our house. When I got home and went to look at my car, it wasn't the tint I noticed first, it was the 2.5 inch long scratch that was on the driver's side back door. I called Cindy's shop as soon as I saw the scratch. She handled it so well on the phone, and made me feel as though the issue would be addressed. She said to bring it right in, however it was my birthday and I was expecting guests for dinner. So I brought the car back 4 days later when I had free time. I got to her shop and everything changed, Cindy and the man working in her shop denied the whole thing, and said it could have even happened in their parking lot. My fianc speculated the scratch could have come from the chair the man sits in to apply the tint, but he swore that they cover the chair with towels (which by the way was uncovered at the time as he worked on another car). They offered absolutely no compensation. The more concerning piece of the story is that their customer service skills were horrible, they were not worried about keeping my business in the future. And unfortunately for them my family along with many friends once utilized their services in the past, but after this situation will no longer go back to them in the future.Desired Settlement: The scratch in my door will require my door to be repainted, essentially costing me more than what the tint cost me. The tint cost $210, and if the business is not willing to have my car door repaired than I would like a refund so I can use that money toward fixing my car.
