Review: CIR proposed a $500 reimbursement to physicians in training, for education-related expenses. They strongly and persistently encouraged physicians to apply for it. They offer this reimbursement because of the financial strain that residents and fellows experience during training. They claim to be able to process the reimbursement within 4-6 weeks. It has been 11 weeks, and I have not received a check. I've emailed and called them multiple times. They claim to have mailed a check on Jan **, but it's been weeks since then and still no check. I would not have purchased $500 worth of educational material if I did not believe that it would be reimbursed. This is adding to, not relieving, my financial stressors during training. Please intervene on my behalf. Desired Settlement: I just want my $500 check.
