We are send a Senior Service tech to Mr***'s home today to take care of the problem. The technician Jevonte has been disciplined for his actions and will not be allowed to return to Mr***'s home. We do not approve of this behavior from any of our Technicians and take this
very seriously. On behalf of Orangutan Home Services we apologize our technicians behavior and that will never happen again

I would like to apologize to Mrs***, on April 29, the refund was credited back to her credit but it was only for $300, I wish I knew why. I did, however refund the balance back to her credit card on 6/22/16. She has been refunded the complete $

We have attempted to schedule to go out to Ms***'s house multiple times, she will not let us come to the house She will only correspond with us through US mail, will not take any emails or phone calls We have not been to the house since 6/2015, with Ms*** not letting us in the house we can not solve the issues with her unit We can not take the word of another company on what is wrong with the system or pay them to fix the issue Ms*** does have a warranty with us on labor until 5/21/16, the few times we did go out to the property right after the install we did not find any issues The unit was installed in 5/an as stated we have not been to the house since 6/

We have reviewed the file, talked to the service manager Scott, he did say yes he agreed to pay the service call charge of $ Scott thought the check was already issued and mailed out, we apologize for the delay on the the check for $ As far as the cancelling of the Preventative maintenance agreement, the amount of $for the refund is correct, according to the agreement we take out the already used service and prorate the remaining We are putting the check for the $for the service call in the mail today Thank you very much

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Since we had a contract with American Home Maintenance (Orangataung) they should have notified us of this so called change of service areaWhen we called for our regularly scheduled preventive maintenance we were informed of thisWe will be watching the surrounding area to see if any orangataung service trucks are ever in the neighborhood. We had a reputable air conditioning company out today and the fixed the problem that was never fixed last year by American Home maintenanceYes, I want a refund BACK TO THE DATE they claim they changed their service area. My name is *** *** not *** *** as they implied!

All lies, what they didn't tell you was the were a different company and I never had them to my house I looked in my files and have no written estimate from them As far as killing one...nope...but I will be filing complaints against them so I hope they have recordings They admitted their employee harrassed me and was fired this morningWhat they are not saying is when I asked the employees name...Jeff O*** the GM didn't know his own employees name Now I have a psycho exemployee out there with my name and information and I only know his first name because the GM Jeff O*** is too lazy to get the information and give it to me so I can protect myself from someone who is crazy enough to call my house at at night and harrass me I nevere hired these people, I have NEVER done business with than $and their business license

I spoke with Jeff yesterday 8/he did offer me for the issues we have hadThey are also suppose to be installing a new counter top, painting the kitchen walls,
and re-doing the kitchen back splash on the 11thSo far there has been no phone calls telling me there are any problems which has happened a few times alreadySo I am hoping all is still good.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved

Mrs*** cursed me out and hung up before I could get the employees last name for her We have apologized for the calls and have done everything in our power to make sure our company never calls her again As far as Orangutan Home Services calling her at 11pm, that was not us Mrs*** said has the name of the person's who called her Our employees are not out to get herThe reason we terminated the employee was for claiming to be a supervisor We are a year old company just trying to do business Again we are sorry we called her but at this point there is nothing else I can do for her

After reading the response from the business, it seems they only addressed the facts that I listed in my complaint Again, I do not feel that the air conditioning system they installed should have broken down in such a short period of time, I feel like it was faulty or that it was installed improperly to cause it to break down I also feel that I should be refunded the money that I have paid them for the repairs When a person pays $for an air conditioning system, they do not expect to incur repair costs for about years

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action along with replacing the trim that their technician removed from my ceiling access (scheduled to be completed on Saturday, May 7th, 2016) and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved

I spoke to Mrs*** today 8/8/16, and I am sending her a check for $for the problems we have caused her

I talked to homeowner, scheduled for Saturday May 6th to take care of his 4 issues he has with the install.  Everything will be resolved on the 6th.

To respond to Mrs.
[redacted]’s complaint, we are not sure what problem she is having with her
unit.  We have been performing routine
maintenance on a unit installed by another company since 2012. On 5/5/2015 Mrs.
[redacted] called our office because her thermostat was reading 3 degrees...

different
than the actual room temperature.  We
dispatched our senior tech, Eric, and he found the indoor coil was leaking
Freon and the primary and secondary drain pan were filled with water.  We did a temporary fix on the unit and
charged it with Freon so Mrs. [redacted] would have cooling while she decided what
she wanted to do.  We charged her $600.00
for Labor and Freon.  Mrs. [redacted] was
deciding if she wanted to replace her unit.  Mrs. [redacted] then called us back to come to her home on 5/11/15 to
purchase a new unit and we credited her the $600 repair.  We did not install the new unit until
5/21/15.  We returned on 5/22/15 to
complete her installation, we repaired and replaced a lot of the damaged duct
work that caused the original problem.  On 5/29/15 we returned to her home to repair drywall that we cut to
install the new unit. On 6/18/15 we returned to her home to texture the drywall
that we repaired.  On 7/2/15 we painted
the entire closet to ensure the paint would match the patches we repaired.  The only time we have been called by Mrs.
[redacted] was on 6/19/15 she stated the unit was blowing warm, on arrival we found
no problems with the unit.We are not sure of what
problems Mrs. [redacted] is having with the unit, we have been to her six times
since we installed it, two visits to complete the install, three visits for
drywall and paint, and one service call.  We have no phone records of her calling since 6/19/15.  We received a letter from Mrs. [redacted] on
11/2/15 asking us to only correspond with her through mail. (Enclosed)  We returned a letter, as she requested asking
if we can call so we can find out what the issue was. (Enclosed)Again, we are not sure
what the problem is with the unit since we have had no contact with her since
June.  We are waiting for her letter
response to figure out the next step.  If
you could help us find this information out, we will fix any problem she has.

2nd incident with Orangutan. Purchased system new from American Home Maintenance with 10 parts and labor warranty and 10 years of service June, 2005. Orngutan took over and did not honor Trane warranty.  New Start cap and relay were supposed to be installed. AC working 2015-2017 including when Tech Franco out of 3/23/17 - AC did not work after Tech Franco "examined". 3/24/17 Called reputable Jaycox out to diagnose why AC quit working $285 to get AC working again. Orangutan should be shut down, very bad business practices. Want my cost to fix $285.

We spoke to Mr. [redacted], we resolved the issue with the different credit card numbers and have made to proper corrections.

On 10/13 called Mr. [redacted] and talked to him, he said his wife Joyce is handling the complaint and I need to call her.  Hung up with Mr. [redacted] and called Mrs. [redacted], she did not answer her phone so I left her a message.  Called Mrs. [redacted] again on 10/18 no answer , left her another...

message.  I will continue to reach out to Mrs. [redacted] to see about resolving their issues.  Thank you, Scott W[redacted]

The technician that left the fowl language told me that he had sent an apology letter to Mr. [redacted].  I am sorry he obviously did not tell me the truth so I will send the apology letter today 7/31/15 from the company on behalf of the technician and I will deal with that person with the appropriate action.  I have updated our system with the two year extension on their maintenance program as we discussed back in June.

In response to Orangutan, I did not and am not disputing the $1200 charge.I am disputing that I was mislead by not being told that the cost was for labor only.  This was not indicated on the invoice which I will be happy to submit. There is no indication anywhere that the charge was for labor only.If I had known the charge was for labor only, I would have contacted other contractors to obtain estimates to see if I good have gotten a better price for installation.Orangutan admitted that the invoice did not show labor cost, which was an error on their part, and stated they would admonish their employee for omitting this on the invoice.I ascertained from Rheem A/C distributor that Orangutan was being reimbursed for this part, which they neglected to tell me. When we asked to know the cost of the part, they told us they did not know.  This is quite unlikely since they are being reimbursed for the part and should be able be tell us the cost.I welcome Orangutan to submit any all recorded conversations that have transpired.

I spoke with Mrs. [redacted] and agreed to refund the pro-rated amount of her extended warranty.

I left a message for [redacted] on 6/25/15 at 8:05am explaining a Pest control company will be able to clean the bird droppings that are under the A/C unit on Friday 6/26/15.  The pest controlcompany will contact her directly to verify the time.
