To Whom It May Concern, This email is a reply to the letter that was received on Tuesday, February 27, in reference to the complaint file filed from resident, *** ***I have attached some email correspondences between the management office and *** regarding several
different concerns/complaintsI have also attached the singed BBQ rental reservation contract On Saturday, February 3, 2018 *** had a few friends come over to use the poolHer friends (roughly people) pulled up to the leasing center parking, smoking cigarettes and had a case of beerI contacted *** via phone and asked if she had a few friends over, she stated that it was her birthday and was going to use the BBQ area and that she did have 2 friends over that and that the other people at the BBQ were residentsI asked Ms*** if the car that pulled into the leasing center smoking cigarettes and carrying a case of beer was here guest and she replied, "oh, yes those are my friends"I informed Ms*** that because there is a 2-guest maximum per resident she would be required to rent the BBQ area and that her guest would need to park within the community during business hours and if she had additional guest come after office hours they are more than welcome to park in the leasing center parking. I also informed Ms*** that because this was a non-smoking facility that her guest needed to use the allocated areas outside of the complex to smokeMs*** came into the office and signed the addendum to rent the BBQ and informed that she would be bringing in the check. I informed Ms*** that I would be more than happy to charge the rental fee on her account and she can log into her resident portal to pay the rental fee and she agreed Since the incident, Ms*** never came back to pay the outstanding amount of $and was issued a balance due letter in which made her upsetShe contacted the office extremely upset demanding to speak to the owner, ***, Assistant Manager spoke to Ms. *** and informed her that unfortunately the owner did not handle resident complaints but that she would be more than happy to assist her, she stated that she was not going to pay the fking money and that not all residents get charged for using the facilities(which is incorrect) she continued to call all the management staff (fking bhes) and that she would not deal with the bt. *** asked Ms*** to please refrain from using that type of verbiage and expression towards the staff and that she understood her frustrationsShe stated that she was going to harass all resident in the pool area and take pictures of them and make everyone's life a living hell*** informed her that she didn't feel that was a good idea as harassment can be a serious offense and can lead her to potentially have legal consequences. *** also informed her that it was against the law to take photos of residents without their consentShe continued to curse, ultimately ending the call by hanging up The owners have decided, as a one-time courtesy to waive the $rental fee with the understanding that if she has more than guest she has to follow all the rules. *** called Ms*** to relay the message and left a message. An email was received on February 16th from Ms*** advising that she received the voicemail and would like all correspondence to be in emailOn February 20, with an email was sent to Ms*** (see attached- email dated 2_20_2018) reiterating the agreement that ownership has agreed to waive the rental feeTo date, there has correspondences from Ms*** that she has received the email in regard to the waived late fee Attachments #1: Emailed dated 2/14/#2: Emailed dated 2/20/#3: Signed BBQ contract- dated 2/3/ Thank you,
