I have used this florist for many years to purchase flowers for my parents and grandparents graves I always place the order a few weeks in advance for pick up when we visit the area When I went to pick up my order for this year, the order was not complete and one of the items was not as ordered I had to wait for the incorrect item to be remade and I had to pick out a "ready made" saddle from their stock room The people that helped me when I went to pick up the order said the girl that I placed the order with was on vacation so it wasn't their fault the order was wrong
When I was putting the flowers on the graves I found a price tag for $on the arrangement I pick out from stock but was charged $for When I called and talked to the original person I placed the order with she stated she did write the order down correctly....so again no one taking responsibility and the customer suffers When I questioned the $price difference in the stock arrangement, she told that was their cost from the wholesaler (this tag should have been removed if it wasn't the correct price for their customer) and they need to make a profit I understand that businesses need to make a profit but they also need to maintain customer satisfaction because without customers there is no business When I questioned her as to the lack of customer service....she stated "I'm only an employee."
From what I can tell the original owner has recently retired and turned the business over to her daughter Unfortunately their customer service has failed and I will no longer use them for my floral purchases and I will be taking my business to one of the other florist in Galax
