To Whom It May Concern,[redacted] contacted the dealership and spoke to our manager Scott who explained that this vehicle was listed incorrectly online. The 2014 vehicle was in fact listed at $1935.00 instead of $19,350.00. Obviously, the staff had made a key punch error. He...

apologized for the mistake and asked if he could help on another vehicle or supply a discount on the corrected price.  These offers were not acceptable. We would have made every effort if the price was reasonably close to the market value but it was not. Our staff is not perfect and one would hope that a reasonable explanation and a sincere apology would suffice. Our interest is to sell vehicles at a fair market price and in no way was there any intent of Fraud! Sincerely,Paul D[redacted]Circle Chevrolet Co. Inc.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
[redacted] Financial received a check of $4004.00 to put towards my account; this is the subtotal of unwanted extra warranty that was requested on 8/19/2014. When...

I asked [redacted] on 11/6/2014 on the remainder part of my requested adjustment, he stated that this request was processed within the time frame of 30 days on the date that I submitted; [redacted] did not receive it until 10/16 and posted it on 10/21 which took more than 30 days. And when I asked about the tax he replied that he did not know about that. Nor did I get the adjustment of what I should be paying for the car but I was charged 7% Sales Tax. I believe that this is a violation, I am also paying for the 3.99% financial interest which I did not mention.

Review: I scheduled my 30,000 mile service online at circle hyundai's website. I price online is $189.75. When I went into the service center the lowest price for the 30,000 mile service was $329.00. When I told them that my online confirmation state $189.75 I was told there must be a problem with the website. I needed the service so I paid but the following business day I called the service manager believing they should honor the price I was quoted online. I was told that what is online is the "factory recommended" & that they do "dealer recommended" at that location. My answer to that was your website should have both options. What they did is a classic bait & switch. They lured me in with one price but it was almost double when I got there. The service manager told me they would correct the website & offer me a free car wash for my trouble. I can take my car to a car wash. They should honor the price on their own website. As of 10 days later they website still shows $189.75 for that service. How many others have been lured in with one price & forced to pay a higher one to keep their warranty from being voided. It's unethical business practices.Desired Settlement: I should be credited the difference between the lowest package which is $329 & the price I was quoted of $189.75

Review: I purchase a 2015 Elantra SE in August 14, 2014, the MSRP was NOT show or display on the window. The salesperson [redacted] give me a quote and told me that I am a long time value customer that the price of the car is $21,800.00 and give all the extra coverage the final total is $28,164.41. After a couple of days, I found the sticker price in the glove compartment the MSRP is $20,995 and with more research there is a special offer and the price is $19,763. I went back to the dealer and the General Manager [redacted] and he stated that it is business to jack the price up and did not know that the salesperson came up with the price ([redacted] was in and out of the General Manager office on the day of the purchase). I decline the extra coverage to bring down the cost of the car -- Limited Warranty ($2,265), Road Hazard ($595), Total Loss Protection ($795), Secure Etch ($349) = $4004 plus (7% tax) $280.28. And the adjustment of overprice $2037 plus (7% tax) $142.59. With continuous call, I was told that this will appear on my loan account presently I did NOT get the adjustment. Today, Oct 21, when I ask for proof of document that a adjustment was made. I was given a proof of only $4004, dated Oct 6 to [redacted]. I should be refunded $6463.87.Desired Settlement: I have been patience, I believe their advertisement of being honestly is untrue, and the continous lied that a refund is issue when it clearly stated that the check was dated Oct 6. I believe that [redacted] needs to know that he employs dishonest people.

Review: I had my transmission replaced on 11/17/14 by Circle Chevrolet in Shrewsbury New Jersey. I Went to [redacted] in [redacted] NJ for an alignment on 3/4/15. [redacted] discovered that the bolt for the passenger side ball joint was missing and the driver’s side was extremely loose causing my car to pull to the left & right. They called me and asked if I had any work done to the car recently. I explained about the transmission being done in November. They told me that when the transmission was done they needed to disconnect the ball joints in order to remove the transmission.

I immediately called Circle Chevrolet and spoke to Pete E[redacted] in the service department and explained to him what was going on. Pete told me that they “didn’t take any ball joint bolts out” when they removed the old transmission or to put the new one in.

I called an 800 telephone number for Chevrolet, unfortunately I don’t remember exactly what day, explained my problem and was told that I would not be issued a Complaint number because it was their word against mine.

Circle Chevrolet was the only one that worked on my car. I was told by 3 mechanics at [redacted] that they had to remove the bolts in order to remove the transmission. I then spoke with, [redacted] another mechanic, he agrees with [redacted] and also furnished me with step-by-step instructions on how to remove a Transmission. This clearly says to remove the ball joint from the steering knuckle.

I was told that the whole tire could have come off while I was driving. After that I had no choice but to get my car repaired at [redacted] as it would be unsafe to drive it. I feel I should be reimbursed for this bill since something Circle Chevrolet did caused the problem with the suspension. Circle Chevrolet’s mistake cost me $553.99 and could have caused me to be in a serious accident.

I sent a letter to Robert D[redacted] at Circle Chevrolet on June 4, 2015 and I have not received a response.Desired Settlement: I feel I should be reimbursed for this bill since something Circle Chevrolet did caused the problem with the suspension. Circle Chevrolet’s mistake cost me $553.99 and could have caused me to be in a serious accident.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

I took my car to [redacted] Car Care on March 4, 2015 because my car was pulling to the right. I thought it needed an alignment. That is when [redacted] found the problems andcalled me over so I could see that the bolt for the passenger side ball joint was missing and the driver’s side was extremely loose. It was explained to me then that the mechanic from Circle Chevrolet who replaced the transmission probably put all the bolts where they were supposed to go and just started the nuts and was going totighten everything when finished with the job and just forgot to tighten these bolts. Before [redacted] did any work to the car, I called Circle Chevrolet and spoke with Pete E[redacted] in the service department and explained to him what was going on. Pete told me that they “didn’t take any ball joint bolts out” when they removed the old transmission or to put the new one in. Pete said if [redacted] had any questions they could call him and they did. [redacted] told Pete that the Circle Chevrolet mechanic had to take the bolts out in order to remove the transmission. Pete still denied that his mechanic touched the bolts. This denial of any wrong doing was why my car was not returned to them. I am not a mechanic. If Circle Chevrolet did not touch the bolts, why would I bring the car back to them. We now know Pete E[redacted] from Circle Chevrolet’s service department was lying. In order to remove the transmission, you have to disconnect the ball joints, but Circle Chevrolet was adamant that they did not touch the bolts. The first lie is now compounded with another lie. The response Circle Chevrolet gave to the Revdex.com saying that the bolt was available by itself. On March 4, 2015, I spoke to the parts department and the mechanic at [redacted] Car Care spoke to the parts department separately. Both he and I were told that the bolt was not available by its self. Perhaps now it is, but it was not then. I am sure I can get affidavits from [redacted] CarCare verifying what really happened. It made me sick to my stomach to realize I was driving my car for 3 ½ months after Circle Chevrolet worked on it and could have been killed or seriously injured if the wheel had come off because of their neglect to tighten a bolt. I sent a certified letter to Circle Chevrolet on June 4, 2015, which I have proof they received on June 8, 2015. I did not get a response until I contacted the Revdex.com.
