Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Circle City Transportation is stating that I received services that I refuse to pay for. In fact I did pay for the services. Attached are copies of my bank statement that reflect so. Circle City Transportation is trying to charge me for an additional hour of service. They 1st claim that they charge for the time before and after the use of the limo. They claim the actual bill time starts when the driver leaves the dispatch location and continues until the driver returns. NO WHERE is that printed! It is not on the website, the fine print of the Living Social Deal, nor on the reservation. The second time I spoke with Mr. [redacted] his claim changed to I went over my time by an additional hour. Which if you see the attached information I did not even utilize the entire 2 hours. The driver was late and we were picked up at 12:48. The driver then returned to pick us up about 2:10/2:15. The mapquest information shows a travel time of 8 minutes to our final destination. Even estimating a few more minutes (total of 10) would put us at our final destination at 2:20/2:25. Which would leave me about 23 minutes short of the 2 hours I paid for. I did sign a piece of paper in a spiral notebook that the driver had HAND written. This paper had the address of the pick up and drop off locations and the time of 12:30-2:30 on it. Which was not that actual pick up or drop off time. It did not show anything about additional charges.
Mr. [redacted] responses claims I didnt pay for the services I received but actually I did. The bank returned the additional charge after reviewing the dispute I filed. If I indeed went over my time I would have no problem paying for it. If ANY of the documentation he claims stated that charges would start at the time the driver leaves dispatch and continues until the driver returns then that would be error my part. I did ask him to provide me with the documents he claims it is stated on. His claim is that it's on the website and on the fine print of the Living Social Voucher. As you see in the attached documents, IT IS NOT STATED ANY WHERE. Is it filed with the state? Maybe, but when people purchase a service they do not pull records from the state. If he plans to charge people for the time before and after the service they requested then it needs to be noted/documented as such in the fine print.

We stand by our earlier communication.  Service was provided: Ms. [redacted] was notified in advance of the travel time in writing and in advance by our staff.  Our Tariff is on file with the State of Indiana as required by law for anyone to read.  the travel time was a port of the terms of the voucher.  Ms. [redacted] is under the mindset that she is entitled to more service than she contracted for.  SHE signed on top of wordage stating that she was extending her service by an hour and by accepting our service she was acknowledging that we could charge her card accordingly.  The credit card company has not ruled against us as yet and after receiving their conclusion we will make a decision on how to collect what is owed us if any.

We will not respond to any other correspondence in this matter and prefer to settle the matter in a court of law.  Please respect our right to cease communication.

[redacted] reserved a limousine from us for March 7, 2014...

with a 12:30 PM pick up.
Ms. [redacted] used a Living Social Voucher for payment. The voucher was for two hours and included up to one half hour travel time to the pickup location and another half hour for the driver to return to our dispatch office after the service. The voucher offer clearly stated that travel time was included In the time. Our confirmation also clearly stated the travel time and was sent to Ms. [redacted] prior to the service. And lastly our tariff which is on file with the state of Indiana and is referenced In the voucher clearly explains the travel time.
The real issue is during the service Ms. [redacted] agreed to an extra hour of service AND she signed the driver's notes confirming the additional time. We charged her credit card $7650 for this service. Then after receiving the service and signing for the service she doesn't think she should have to pay for the service. This is why she filed this claim.
We are challenging Ms. [redacted] claim and insisting that the charges stand and any monies removed from our account be returned.
Please see four accompanying documents.
Thanks,
[redacted], GM

Stay far, far away from this company. I think this very well may be the worst service I've received from any company in my life. I booked their Party Bus for our wedding. They were to transport our wedding party from the church, to the Indianapolis Museum of Art for pictures, and then to the reception venue. The driver never showed up at the church. I was finally able to get ahold of Ernie, the owner, who told me the messaging system had a problem and the driver never received the notice to get us. I booked the service over a month in advance and contacted the company a couple of weeks before to confirm. The owner said he could be there in 45 minutes. We were not going to sit there waiting, so we had to buy Uber rides to the IMA so we could at least get some pictures in. The owner eventually met us at the IMA in a bus that did not match the pictures on the site at all. It was a basic transport bus that looked poorly maintained, not the vehicle shown on the website.
After the wedding, the owner ignored four emails I sent requesting a refund for not even coming close to providing the service that I'd contracted for. I did get the owner on the phone and he was extremely argumentative, taking the tone that I should be happy that he did come at one point. He refunded half of my money. I argued that this was unacceptable as their screw up forced us to miss valuable picture time, we had to pay for Ubers to transport the wedding party for some pictures, and the bus provided was not the vehicle we'd paid for. The owner stated "I'm not refunding the total because you had an opportunity to cancel when the driver didn't show. I'm not the father of the bride, so I'm not going to pay for your wedding expenses."
Use any other transportation company in Indianapolis. My experience with this company was absolutely awful. When you're planning your wedding, you don't plan on finding Ubers right after the ceremony because your contracted transportation doesn't show up.
