part.It has no bearing on this case whether I sub-contracted the work or not. The fact is I gave him an estimate and charged him for the exact amount of time it took to remove his boat, transport to and from the repair facility and remount and adjust his boat onto his trailer. I have been in this business for over 29 years and feel my charges are in line and at fair market price.

Circle D Boats will not credit my husband & myself a deposit on an item we never purchased.

May 13, 2103, my husband was interested in purchasing a used boat from this business. He then looked the boat over, and decided he liked it. He then around 4pm (according to his credit card sales receipt) gave the business $100 as a deposit, and left, never signing any kind of binding contract. That evening we talked things over and decided it would be best if we backed out of the purchase. The next morning May 14, 2013, at around 9am, my husband called the business letting them know we will not be purchasing the boat; in which they responded "Don't worry about it, I'll sell it anyways." I then asked my husband if we would be getting our deposit back? He told me he didn't know, I then called Circle D Boats around 9:30am, and asked if we would be credited back our deposit, they told me "No," then argued the fact that we never signed any kind of obligatory contract. They stood their ground and I stood mine. Attached is an invoice and credit card receipt from Circle D Boats.
