I'm a crew coordinator for Arizona Friends of Homeless. Our mission is to provide outreach services and stationary services to homeless while using social media to provide public awareness of homeless issues. Arizona Friends of Homeless is a non-profit 501c3 organization which serves the homeless through daily outreach, connections to local services, shelters, and programs, and provides awareness to the general public, members, advocates, donors, and volunteers on homeless issues. I have had a route I take 7 days a week supplying homeless with necessities that you and I need to stay alive. One of the items is food. Many of my homeless neighbors and yours have EBT cards, cash, work part time jobs and live in tunnels, under bushes, behind your house and mine anywhere they feel safe. Part of what I do is by providing them necessities like what you and I have is it keeps them from stealing because they are hungry or thirsty. I have several homeless neighbors that have been refused access to your stores because of nothing more than aesthetics. They have dirty clothes, hands, back packs you think they steal, they aren't acceptable to you! The homeless neighbors of yours and mine that have been refused service in your stores have not stolen, harmed anyone they just want to do what I do every week, sometimes daily at your store is buy food and drinks and yes use your bathrooms. It's better than urinating behind your bushes or dumpsters. The cruelty that your stores show to the homeless neighbors has brought me to write this letter. Your employees have had the Phoenix police trespass me from the property where for 2 and a half years have bought my coffee and occasionally gas. They trespassed me because I help the homeless and they don't like homeless people. I intend to post examples of what I have seen and heard from the 40 people that I serve every single day regarding your stores. Regarding the way your employees have treated the homeless and myself in the stores, have not let customers pay for food their when they have no money, for refusing service to homeless neighbors because they don't look acceptable to your staff, and for your employee's judgemental attitudes towards them. These are neighbors who like yourselves once had a home, a job and some do have jobs, but can't any longer afford a home, have mental health issues, and are just trying to survive the best they can. I will agree that some do steal from you and I don't condone this behavior, some do drugs on your property, I don't condone this behavior, some look suspicious, etc. That is when you call the police. I intend to tell 10 of my friends to tell 10 of their friends to tell 10 of their friends to start shopping somewhere else. We have over 6K members on our facebook page and I'm hoping I will reach most of them.

I went to the Circle K on Americas Ave El Paso, TX #and the employee was very rude to my years old son, to my husband and to meI went to paid for dollarsâ worth of items and asked her for change then told me she don't have change unless we buy more stuff so then I sent my husband to get some gums and she respond "I already told your wife I'm not giving her no change" then my husband respond saying their no need for her to curse at me She said well I'm refusing service because of my attitudeSo then I said, Do I have an attitude if I'm talking to you right?, then she said I don't care, I then ask for the manager and she said she was the manager, I also asked for a high manager and their number and she said it is at the door that if I was to blind to see it Now I don't think that is a correct way to treat a costumer, I work in nursing and I know how to talk to people, I would like this to be looked further because my son left frighten from the store

I went to the Circle K on 700 Americas Ave El Paso, TX 79907 #2706333 and the employee was very rude to my 6 years old son, to my husband and to me. I went to paid for 12 dollars’ worth of items and asked her for change then told me she don't have change unless we buy more stuff so then I sent my husband to get some gums and she respond "I already told your wife I'm not giving her no change" then my husband respond saying their no need for her to curse at me.
She said well I'm refusing service because of my attitude. So then I said, Do I have an attitude if I'm talking to you right?, then she said I don't care, I then ask for the manager and she said she was the manager, I also asked for a high manager and their number and she said it is at the door that if I was to blind to see it.
Now I don't think that is a correct way to treat a costumer, I work in nursing and I know how to talk to people, I would like this to be looked further because my son left frighten from the store.
